  1. If you saw that list in the thread about the companies that make them, just find out if you like one better than the other 4 and pick the cheapest name you can find.
  2. I got some new ones for 10 on Gun Broker with 5 dollar shipping for my whole order. Looking to stay around that price range.
  3. I've seen two 3d movies and don't really notice a difference. I heard Avatar was awesome but I never did go see it. I'm waiting for holograms.
  4. A quick google search yields some pretty bad opinions/ reviews on them.
  5. Title says it. I don't really care about color. I prefer Foliage Green I prefer 30rd mags
  6. These came in today and the rest of the parts should be ordered this weekend. I'm hoping to have it ready next weekend if everything is in stock. But, here is the start.

If you google search or look on ar15.com and a few other sites you can find a thread that's fairly updated as to who makes what, and a variety of ways that you could tell the difference if you had all of them sitting in front of you.

Uppers and lower prices depend on the brand. I just bought my Mega forged upper and lower for 260. But most other manufacturing companies you can come in right around 130 for the upper and lower, both milspec.
  16. The Kel Tec PF9 is a good carry gun. My roommate has one and I hate everything about it. Go hold a PF9 if you haven't. Ruger and Kahr have some nice CCW guns as well. I've been looking at CZ weapons, but since they don't offer anything without a safety I'm not considering picking one up for my CCW. I carry a Kahr CW9 daily.
  17. Red Door Tavern in Grandview. Today might even be $5 burgers. It's on W. 5th Ave.
  18. Timmy Thomas is the man! EDIT: I saw an article that was ragging on Thomas for not going, saying it was disrespectful of him to skip out. http://bostonglobe.com/sports/2012/01/24/thomas-absence-left-bruins-shorthanded/0IZldFXHIvciMSfbNnkBfL/story.html How is what he did disrespectful?
  19. Survival Tactics on E. Main St. in Reynoldsburg.
  20. I was in the same boat as you when I started. I ended up purchasing a Kahr CW9. Another Kahr option is the CM9 which is a bit smaller. No safety, heavy trigger pull, comfortable in my hand, good sights, single stack, not extremely heavy. It was my first handgun and I wanted something I could comfortably shoot a few hundred rounds through for range trips. If your main purpose for getting it is to carry, get a gun that feels comfortable while carrying it. Always ask yourself what's the purpose of this before you buy it.
  21. My favorite gun to shoot is my roommates Mosin. He's done a few things to his. Scope, polished bolt, raised cheek pad cut from the stock. You definitely will get a wide range of quality of ammo when ordering. We had two different batches of ammo one time at the range. You could get some groups damn near touching each other at 100yds with one batch and then you could have a 3" spread with the other box. Very fun rifle to shoot and at $80 you can't go wrong.
  22. Wow, your garage is looking great.
