If you're looking to get you're oil changed I'm not very far from you. I can have my buddy bring his oil pan over and we can get it done no problem, but I'd hate to have you buy me pizza for something you can do yourself.
Title says it. Looking for something around 800 dollars. I know it will need some work done to it but show me what you have. Looking for a friend of mine. Thanks, Ryan
I just use my old skateboard backpack and strap my helmet to my bike. Other than that I would personally just use the chin strap to tie it onto my back pack somehow.
I've only ridden my bike so I can't compare what I like and don't like and have biased reviews from what others tell me about things that could be upgraded. 07sv650s Likes: Great beginner bike Forgiving Light Easy to maneuver WOT won't scare the piss out of you. You can romp on it and have no worries. (I'm getting it tuned here soon so I'll have to add once that gets done.) You can use GSXR parts for upgrades Parts are EASY to find Minimal plastics if you drop it Good riding position Dislikes: Suspension (From what I've heard but I see what people are talking about as far as upgrading) After riding a few thousand miles it gets boring in the straight line I'm 5'8" and hate baking this thing up if I'm not on flat land or rolling downwards. (Corbin will drop you an inch or so, something I need to invest in) Basically it's a GREAT bike for a beginner and you can find parts for it real easy. Not hard to work on yourself. Me and my buddy both have never worked on bikes but it's been a fun learning experience and we've had no troubles at all, but we've just done some minor upgrades so far.
I'm in Blacklick, looking to go out and get a decent little ride in today and I'm bored of going solo. Nothing crazy, just want to go out for a cruise. Anyone?
How was it? And do you think you guys will have something else like this. I would have loved to attend if I didn't have 7 dollars to spend for the rest of the week.
Only reason I asked was because I got the bike with 2k miles and I'm coming up on 6k. I didn't think that they had been changed out and I know most tires that are this brand last around 5k miles. I guess they gave me a fresh set when I got the bike. Thanks for all the info everyone.
It's normally 2-3 cars back and from what I've experienced I just run it if the coast is clear if I've had to wait more than twice (Normally at night). I've only had trouble with this a few times during the day and I just wait for a car to pull up behind me. The wait sucks but I don't want to be road kill.
Don't know what's considered needing new tires. I normally just do a lot of commuting. I've seen tires that look worse than mine and people ride on them but I don't want to have them slipping out from under me. Sorry for the crappy pics but it's the best I could do with my phone. Here is a decent shot in the light.
Wow, campus is full of squids. You would think with the busy streets during rush hour you'd either stay at home or gear up. Nikes, shorts, t-shirt, glasses and a bandanna is soooooo cooool dawg. I bet the chicks dig it.
First time at QSL last night so it was kinda odd not knowing anyone but the person I went with. Either way I think I'ma try and make it out again next week. First time I had a scare from some deer last night too.
I'm looking at all options. I wouldn't mind lowering the ride height either. I have a little bit of trouble backing my bike up into places sometimes as it is. A Corbin would fix that problem. I'm not even 100 percent I'm going to do the upgrade as I don't plan on having this bike next season.
