  1. Thoughts? I can get the entire front end off an 03 R6 for 175. Would this be a good upgrade? What should I look for when if I go to look at it? Is there anything else I should consider instead? Thanks
  2. Thanks for all the responses everyone. Has me thinking what to do next now. Thanks for making me want to spend more money.
  3. I'm looking for my pre load setting. Where should it be for me? I've looked in the manual and cant find if you weigh xxx set it to xxx. Everything is stock settings from the factory. Someone told me it's stock set up is for a 145lb rider which I'm probably at or just above fully geared up.
  4. The front can be changed. I've read in my manual that they can be. I would do a swap on the front but I don't plan on having this bike next season so I don't feel it's worth all the money to put into it. Thanks
  5. Bike: 2007 sv650s I've never messed with my adjustments for the suspension and I was wondering if anyone had a chart or guide to follow for setting this. I'm 140 lbs if that can help me get a straight answer. I highly doubt anything on it has been changed from the factory settings.

    Coachella

Yorke is playing Coachella... This makes it very tempting!
  7. PRICE DROP: 140!!!! This is still brand new never worn.
  8. I got caught in the rain on the way home from school a few times last year when I didn't have a car. Pouring down rain isn't very much fun when you have less than 2k miles under your belt but it definitely helped me understand how well my tires work.
  9. There are plenty of in ear noise canceling headphones WITH volume controls on the speaker wires. I would say that those types of headphones are your best and most SAFE way to listen to your music.
  10. Warm weather bump. Want to get my bike tuned and this frees up the extra funds.
  11. I was under the impression this mod completely fixed the popping. That seemed to be the consensus on the SV forums. Only reason I did this was to get a tune so I guess I'm good to go then. Thanks for the info Hoblick.
  12. Also, instead of plugging the pair valve we made a 3rd plate to block it off leading into the air box.
  13. http://www.holeshot.com/sv650/decel.html I did the removal today and I'm still getting a popping during decel. We made our own plates out of aluminum. Everything in the diagram above has been removed. Could I have a leak? Running to rich? I have a Yoshi slip on. Any help is appreciated.
  14. 270 N going to Easton pot hole in the fast lane on the outside just after you go under the bridge that takes you onto 670.
  15. Not specifically a womens jacket but... http://ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=41361 Fit just a little bit to big on me so I need to get rid of it. Still has the tags on it and I've only worn it to see if it fit.
  16. I've missed a few people before when I was paying attention to something else. I don't think I haven't received a wave back yet, or at least a nod of the head.
  17. I've only had leather jackets, and I payed less than 200 for both of the ones I have now and MSRP was 400+ on both. You can get some good leather jackets for a little extra from what you're looking to spend now.
  18. http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/model_years/3628-suzuki-2007-SV650S/assemblies/127649 I'm looking for a piece for my bar ends. Mine fell off sometime last year and the inner assembly went with it. I ordered the parts but I guess I forgot to order the screw for the inside. Or the spacer expander. Can anyone tell me where I could find this at a local store, and exactly what size and all that it needs to be?
  19. Nice. Wish my bike wasn't the "S" model. I need to get an under cowel on mine. I think they look a little goofy with out them. Glad you got that SV though.
  20. I know he sanded it down, primed it and then painted and added clear. All and all after it was said and done I spent around the same price as what the Star retails for at full price so it was worth it IMO.
  21. I have this helmet (ace of hearts) and got it painted. I love it. It's very light weight. Only problem is that you will want some ear plugs with it for sure. Gets kinda loud in there. Also, I hope you tried it on first. Seemed to run a size smaller than normal. I just didn't like the graphics on mine so I took it to Reimbrandt to get it painted. http://i475.photobucket.com/albums/rr116/RadioFlyerGlass/IMG_0160.jpg
  22. If you go on 270 between Easton and E. Broad stay in the slow lanes to avoid pot holes. There might be one pot hole in the slow lanes to look out for but I've been riding slow lanes for the past month and a half and haven't had my car dip into anything.
  23. Only reason to keep it is because you've been working on it so long to get it to a certain point. Now your interests seem to have changed. I'd get a bike for sure, but since I got my first one I put car thoughts on the back burner permanently.
