  1. DiCarlos on Main St in Hilliard. I bet it is different from most everything you have have had before.
  2. You must have been on Cracked, I looked up these exact toys as well today.
  3. How about the guys that built the bikes for Roll On Columbus? I also remember seeing a place near Alum Creek on 36/37, possibly even more than one in that area. Names escape me at this time.
  4. Most of my gear is lighter summer stuff, and my winter bag is heavy. Not opposed to it, I actually prefer cooler days for hikes, but I will need a new sleeping bag first. Something to consider for sure.
  5. For sure. The contour lines on the topo map help, at least warning you of the elevation changes. Here is a link to the trail map I use.... http://www.ohiodnr.com/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=mXnI5NkrC00%3d&tabid=5171
  6. Yeah, it can be fairly tough, it has kicked my ass before. I didn't know the mileage was off, the trail maps they have there are fairly accurate from point to point, or at least I thought. ????
  7. I'm doing a thru-hike at Zaleski this weekend. Only my 2nd trip there this year, pretty much always up for a hike-camp though.
  8. I've got a TI-83 plus if the other doesn't work out, or if anyone else needs one, $40.
  9. Mini Apes at most. I know you have a Honda, but go over to Harley store that has a fit store bike. You can swap through several bars and sit on a bike so you can see how they feel. I think the bars you have will probably be the most comfortable. You can also look into adding risers for a different look and feel.
  10. cool, and I do mean 8-10. I just realized it was August.
  11. I finally have a Wednesday night free this summer and was thinking of going to QSL or Rule 3. Does anyone from OR even go to these at all anymore? I'll probably still go with the GF, just curious if anyone else would be there.
  12. I might be in, depending on dates and direction. A fall ride to the NE and I'll probably go, I still need those states to fill my map. 700 miles a day would for sure need to be mostly on the highway as well, at least from my experience. Just stopping casually on my long trips, I usually do 500-600 miles per day in 10-12 hours, but I typically end up riding in torrential rains or brutal heat too. If you are riding anything more technical than a highway or even a sweeping highway like in WV or CO or something, 300-400 miles might be more like the max. I dunno though, I ride like a typical HD guy and take corners at 3 mph.
  13. Yep. Most of us on here are honest people wanting a fair price if we are selling something. Truthfully, if I was newb looking for a thingamajig that I don't know a lot about, a constructive criticism might make me look twice and do some some more research and find a better going rate. If someone is on here trying to rip people off, we need to put a stop to that anyway and look out for one another. It goes the other way; if you know something that a member is selling is cherry, let others know; hell even if you know they are standup person, mention it. The best consumer protection in a forum like this is each other.
  14. Stop by after Eddie Money, I'm sure it will be done fairly early. Lol, yeah, we've got some other stuff lined up, we just all live within a few miles from Flannagan's and its nice and easy to haul crap.
  15. That actually is on the to do list, but probably won't be ready by tomorrow.
  16. We can learn an Eddie Money song in the parking lot for you, well, probably not, but you can pretend we did. I can bet the likelihood and average distance from floor to old saggy breast is a quite a more at Eddie Money than at Flannagans as well.
  17. Shallowtail Saturday night, you guys know the drill. Come out for a little pre-Meet and Greet libations and sexual frustration. There is a pool there now too! Flannagans6835 Caine Rd Columbus, OH https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=214916451872326 Pictures to show the fun we will have: And for the DTC:
  18. I walked outside today, and this is the coolest temps I've felt from here to California except for the Rockies in the past two weeks. Be glad you're not in Oklahoma, it's brutal there.

    Baby Ben

Wow, already looking good, no newborn alien head. I was hoping he would stay baking until next Wed so we could share a birthday, but hey, just glad he came out healthy and Carie is doing well. Congrats!
  20. I ride a cruiser and Florida sucks. So does most of the ride there. So far in my experience New Mexico is the best state to ride in. Great weather, beautiful country, 75 mph speed limit on sweeping mountain highways and no traffic. Ride I25 for a day along the Rio Grande and you feel like it still 1875, and you are trailblazing on a horse getting ready for a shootout at the next pass.
