3 years before I am eligible for a pension. It would cover most expenses if we lived in a tiny house with no bills, in a cheap part of the country. It is very appealing.
Unfortunately, my wife does not want to live the "simple life"
Ultimately I will try to stay in the military as long as possible, to build up the pension.

I'm cool to meet up wherever. I live in Kettering near the intersection of Dorothy and Shroyer
BP at Washington Square(Whipp & Far Hills) at 9 am?
-
I'll be heading down from Dayton as well.
What is the easiest place for you to meet up?
-
Bummer. I never made it out for a race.
-
**EDIT** I won't make it

Walnuts are the worst!

What did you get?
DRIIs. Put about 30 miles on before DUSK had me spooked. They are better than I could have imagined. Smooth, gradual, consistent. I will really get to enjoy them this Sunday.
I also had to change the 10A fuse for my blinkers today. I think I got a little happy with hosing her down last week.

Looks like a solid start, Bubba!
If anyone needs to meet anywhere around Dayton, or thereabouts,....let us know. Chad, I will prolly just meet you at the start point.
**this McDonalds place you speak of, does not have very good reviews**

Oversized tires will make the bike more stable/less flickable/heavier feeling. When funds allow, put the proper size on. You will grin ear to ear.
Ride more miles!

It sounds like Bubba has a 275 starting point ???

I would most likely join up for this. NKY sounds great. But I'm also good to go anywhere.
You good to go?
-
Thanks for the prep work.
I'm in....and can create an intermediate stop/meetup location, depending on where others are originating from(if needed).

Ride more miles! Make muscle memory. The bike can do it, you can do it. These apprehensions are all in your head. The problem is the nut in the middle of the bars(yoke).
You sound like you are taking responsibility for your mistakes and learning. Better than most riders, right there.
+1 on Twist of the wrist/Keith Code

Nice ride!
Any upcoming garage parties?

I know logistics including the extra 35-40 miles roll from Dayton in the morning and evening are hard to overcome, but I'd be up for volunteering to put together a route of 150-200 miles of NKY goodness if you wanna head south from Dayton. Could do fewer miles, but you'll miss out on some of the classic roads. Lemeno by Friday if there's enough interest--also presumes the weather is gonna cooperate--and I'll dig thru some of my old LocalRiders routes and post up a map. Technically, I guess Cincinnati is REALLY part of northern KY anyway….
I would love a NKY trip!

Starting in Dayton...I'm pretty much game for anywhere.

I'm wanting to ride all day Sunday. Any takers?

Stupid ride....
This morning I am dragging highway boards on every corner, on my Boulevard.

I won't be around for the spring ride, unless it's in March(hahahahahaha).

Kind of intrigued with the last two photos. The clampet bike appears to have a Mercedes Benz diesel as it's heart. The bottom picture , the red suzuki looks as if someone has transplanted a 2 smoke...
I believe the bottom one was a large snowmobile engine. It had a pull start.
Ride Sunday(10/5/14)???

Sorry, I meant Shell. Four-OH-too, six-3-oh, 9-two-6-zeven
New tires scrubbed in/pressure adjusted. Suspension adjusted. Heated vest swapped over. Gassed up. I'M READY!!!!
