A co worker of mine is being redeployed at the end of the month. He is looking at a few sights he wants to use when he gets deployed. I have no experience with high dollar sights so looking for input from some of you who might have used the acog which is what he used last. Or if anyone has tried the new leupold hamr sight. This is the other sight he was looking at. Thanks for any input.

Thanks Tom i forgot about the mp22 what do those run price wise? I will most likely pick up a tac sol barrel for my buckmark once i get everything cleared with the stamp. And have my 597 barrel threaded as well. Is there a can i could use on the 22's as well as the ar?

Yeah what ever I end up with is being bought with the intent of adding a can to it. So the threaded barrels are a plus on them. I looked at the sig squito but have heard it is very picky on ammo.

Yeah i have shot a p22 a few times they ran ok using minimags but had a few jams on bulk ammo. I will most likely get the sig/gsg 1911-22. Hey Scott let me know if you can get one to try for a range day.

I have a buck mark already. I would put a can on that but would like to pick up a new .22 pistol. Not saying that i might not pick up a tac sol threaded barrel for the buckmark once I get the stamp cleared. So from what I am reading online and reviews I have seen the gsg/sig is looking to be in the lead now.

So we get a profit sharing bonus in december. And i spend a little on myself before the wife gets the rest. I am looking for a new plinker toy this year. Plan is to pick up a .22lr pistol and put a silencer on it. Looking mostly at the ruger sr22, walthers p22. Or the sig/gsg 1911-22. I know lots of you guys have or have shot these looking for pro/cons on the guns and what brand can for the money is worth it. Budget is under $1000.

Those the same as the gsg 1911-22? Look like cool guns never shot one yet.

Maybe thats why i dont care for the issc i dont like the feel of any glock i have tried.

Have checked out the issc not impressed with the build quality of them. New they seem ok but the used ones I've seen seem very loose. Also dont like the size of the issc. Even though i have been seeing bad reviews on the ruger also.

Ask Casper I think he has the same gun. They are good 100 yrd guns.

So i should grab my buckmark if i have a home invasion? Maybe the rifle with a 30 round mag. It is a deadly round no doubt about that. But i will stick with my shotgun still.

He was first looking for a full auto m60 till he saw the price and paperwork they come with lol. Told him this might be a better option for him.

He has a budget of around $5k i think i still have one of Dales cards.
