No i get it track people are track people and superior in every aspect of riding, and street riders are trash! it is how everyone of these street vs track thread goes. I was trying to say lap traffic is as dangerous or more dangerous then street traffic is crazy. Why is it that the track day guys always talk of pushing the limits. All i want to do is enjoy the ride at my pace. I think track day guys crash more due to there lack of self preservation thinking that the track is a safety bubble when pushing the limits. You can only ride within your limits period. If you push to hard you're gonna get bit be it on the track or the road. So push yourself all you want at the track and crash and learn, I will stay on the street in my comfort zone and ride another 500 mile day.

Wow you have had traffic that was on coming at the track!!! Did they get kick out for going the wrong way? Lap traffic is in no means similar to a f150 crossing the double yellow line over a blind hill

I know a few riders that were off the street for a few years and now are uncomfortable riding on the street at a brisk pace. They became to sheltered by clean tracks with no traffic or blind hills.

I agree riding the track makes street riding more dangerous. Because you get use to riding groomed tracks with no traffic on coming, and no variables that you don't know are coming from the last ten laps you already did. So i must agree riding the track makes you a more dangerous street rider if you stay off the street for to long.

My Dad has 1/3 of a full basement with train stuff. When I showed him this he already saw it and stole some ideas from it for his set-up. He said it is on his bucket list to go see this train set. LOL!

I have to say this was my best Christmas ever! My wife rocks, besides letting me go get my AR-15 as a gift to myself. She went out and surprised me with a horton brotherhood crossbow, 420 rnds of 5.56 in a ammo can on stripper clips. Also got a 62 piece cleaning kit for the guns in a nice alum case, a set of skinning, boning cleaning knifes. And a BG gerber survival knife set. I also went up and picked up a foam shooting block for the crossbow with a gift card today. My oldest boy also did well with all new hunting clothes from the boots on up including scent block base layers. He also picked up a barnett vortex compound bow, trigger and arm guard. Now all I need to do is figure out how to set this bow up so he can shoot it. It adjusts from 24-45# and right now is way to hard for him to pull back.

WOW my kids got up way to early today!! merry Christmas. I have been up and cleaning up flying paper and cutting open stupid bionic wrapped toys since about 6:30. But the looks on there face was priceless.

So its Christmas morning my kids were up before the sun was lol. So who got cool new stuff this morning besides me? All I can say is my wife rocked this year. She got me a horton brotherhood crossbow package. And the 420 rnd ammo can of 5.56 federal xm855 62 grain fmj. She also helped my boys pick up a 62 piece gun cleaning kit. And a outdoor edge field dressing kit for cleaning all kinds of game. The boys also picked me up a nice gerber field knife the bg survival kit set..was a good year.

I know the walmart out on rt 42 on the medina border has fire arms but not sure what they carry besides hunting rifles?

I was once on a ride where a small displacement bike went down in the middle of the road and some guy tried to ride his tl 1000 into a field with little luck LOL! He rode home with a slightly more used bike but learned from it. I have still never done a track day, and don't see one in my near future. I guess I dont see the draw of the track. I am more drawn to go ride with my buddies for 10 hours then to ride in 20 min sets on the same 11 turns?

So buy it then buy a longer barrel for it? LOL it's in pretty good shape could use a little clean up and oil but is a solid 80-85% gun.

Ok so after watching the video I have a few problems with the study. First and probably my biggest gripe is the type holster they were using. Who in there right mind would use a level 3 duty holster to conceal carry? Second was the fact that in half the cases the shooter came in an instantly targeted the person with the gun before they even made a move to draw. And last that they used people who had no firearm training for the case study. The guy who said he had 100's of hours training with a gun must of been talking about just shooting paper? Like everyone else said I would like to see something like this be done with people who train to use there weapon in self defense.

Ok so I got the gun picked up tonight. It is a 5 inch barrel sorry gump. And there is no box just a soft sided case. I will give it a once over this weekend and get some pics up. He said he would like to get around $650 obo for it.

I know the sti is boosted. What I ment to say was I loved my gti but even with traction control it spun the wheels when pushed hard. My subaru does not so even if it makes less power then my gti did it is easier to use that power. My subaru is a non turbo soccer mom hatch back sport wagon

Who cares about boost all wheel drive puts it to the ground.
