I love my rock river AR. Got to shoot it for the first time last week. First time shooting an AR, gotta say I am hooked. Already looking to build another ASAP.

Not sure what shotguns they are buying. But fin had a 500 combo set with a 26 inch vent ribbed barrel and a 20 slug barrel for $299. The pistol grip shotties are going for $325 I think.

If I am in my one piece leathers I use a set up my tank bag. A cheap uncle mikes holster with some velcro to hold it in place so it stays put. I use to pocket carry the tcp when I had it.

I am going to fin in the morning. Sure something could follow me home.

To the top. Anyone still interested in this? He seems pretty firm on the $650 price tag. It is going with me to the gun show next weekend. I cleaned it up looks very good now. Let me known if you want pics.

Yeah but with my square little sausage fingers it's a bit of a reach on my lc9 LOL! the lcp is a little shorter.

I did mine before it ever had a round down range LOL! I read up on a few sites about feed issues and figured it would help.

Try polishing the feed ramp with a dremel and some polish. I did that to mine made a huge difference with feeding. Mine feed anything i put in it.

Thats the way Im going on the lc9 like the pressure buttom on the grip much better then the push pin on the laser max. But they are like double the price of the laser max!?

Yeah ruger switched to the laser max. They don't do the ct one from the factory on the autos. Guess it helps keep there prices down.

Almost got the lc9 with the same set up but didn't like the reach to turn it on. I am saving for a crimson trace. Good price though.

They list them high thinking everyone is gonna offer a lowball bid. Kinda like gunshow pricing.

I have been wanting to upgrade my b.o.b. and was gonna add a guide and maybe some more m.r.e.'s and a water filter of some type.

I went with the Pirelli P6 all season they rock in the snow. and are good for around 50k miles. I ran a set on my old gti I had made a huge difference.

Looks like it would be cheaper for me to buy a new stevens rifle in .308. LOL guess I will just have to get use to the price of center fire rifle ammo other then 5.56

Lol not looking to make a serious rig out of it. Just want a better trigger for now. But still wish it were a 308 just for the cheaper ammo. If it can get a inch group at 100-300 yards i'd be ok with that.

Not identical but very close. Mag release is different so is the safety.

Thanks Tom. I have been looking into aftermarket parts some. How hard would it be to turn this into a .308?

I have taken the factory trigger out as far as it will go. From what I have read online this should get me just under 4 pounds. It the creep and harsh break I don't like. I thought about stoning the seer and hammer to try to get it smoother. I have done this to my. 22 rifle with good results. But may just drop something into this one and be done. I have seen the rifle basix for around $80 and might go with it. Thanks guys.
