  1. Hey Scott, want to go shoot my mini again? next you will want a semi auto centerfire rifle! LOL I got a little collection started but still need atleast 5 more guns to be happy with what I have.
  2. I prefer 7.62x54r for ground hogs!!LOL hey kawi mind if I come test my mini target on some hogs?
  3. Can use the .243 for yotes, ground hogs in Ohio.
  4. A guy I work with has show interest in trading a rem model 700 in 30-06 plus $300-400 bucks for my mini 14 target with 2-20rnd mags a scope and some other small extras. His 700 is black plastic/syn stock, no scope on it bare bones. I have been looking at these would not mind owning one. The money would be used to buy a scope for it. What would you say yes or no?
  5. They make for a good starter gun as you can have multipal calibers with one "gun", Also the cost is not to high, It would be a good starting point for someone who has never owned a gun, or has little experience shooting one. They shoot quicker then most bolt actions I have used, as long as you have your round out of the box where you can grab them.
  6. The one I posted is a full size gun it also has wood stock and forgrip which means it is not to light. You can add a limb saver stock pad if it kicks to hard I need one for my kids youth model as the shot gun is brutal.
  7. Added plus is you can pick up other barrels in different calibers. Rossi has almost every popular round from what I have seen. Shotguns they make .410,20,12 and for rifles I have seen .22,.17hmr,22-250, 243, 270, 30-06, .308, might be others but I have seen these for sale.
  8. .17 is a little nasty fast round like a .22 on roids it is rimfire not much knock down, but will take any small game and shoot very flat. The .243 is a hunting round could be used on anything from groundhogs up to deer (or zombies), it is a centerfire rifle round. And the two shotgun barrels are 20, 12ga multi use barrels also a center fire type round. Draw backs are slow rate of fire, lower end brand. About all I can think of. They are very easy to clean as the gun comes apart very fast/easy. Ease of use, pull the hammer back and you are good to go. They have a hammer block when the safety is on so the hammer can not slip and hit the firing pin. I have a youth set for my boys with the 22lr and 20ga setup. It shoots very well for the price of the gun.
  9. Or just buy something like this and you get four in one! http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=194524808
  10. done! posted up some gun porn also.
  11. Dont have many good online pics of my stuff will look to see what I have?
  12. You can see I have seen one to many tee shirts at the gun shows huh!??
  13. What would be your top three picks for when the zombies attack? anytype of weapon, Mine would be a springfield m1a with a bunch of 20 rnd mags and a good scope on it with iron back ups, toreach out and touch a zombie. Second would be a full auto m4 carbine, with dot sight and short barrel. Third would be a saiga 12ga with the 20 round drum mags all tacticool.
  14. I only need a few more guns, you can never be to prepared. LOL I am in!
  15. Or is it when seconds count the police are only minutes away?
  16. Whats the saying? I carry a gun cause the whole cop would be to heavy?
  17. Oh she was awake and thinking when he goes to work I am gonna shit all over the place for him to clean. LOL!
  18. Red lets put it this way it would take a perfect shot with a .22lr to stop someone with one shot. With a larger bullet the odds are better for a one shot stop. I am not saying one shot with the guy flying backwards. just saying one shot from a 9mm,.40, or .45 has a much greater chance of enough damage to stop someone with one shot. Now a 12ga with 00 buck in a 3 inch mag might stop someone in there tracks as in no more foward motion.
  19. Sig go with a 226 over the 250. from what I have heard? 250 is lower end of there line up. If it was between the 250 or xd, xd for sure. But the 226 and xdM might be a tougher choice.
  20. Everyone has there ones they like, but we all know the springfields are the best.
  21. Everyone needs atleast one 1911 right? wheel gun? there is two I need still LOL!
  22. I thought he was looking for his first pistol to be a paper/ home gun? Your dad would do well with a easy to handle gun, from the range trips I have been on he seemed to like the wheel gun your buddy had last time. He also seemed to like the .22 also? Heck I need atleast 2-3 more to get to where I would be almost done?....with handguns long guns more then that.
