I did a demo on a street triple R and was shocked with the performence. I would love to get one to replace my triple. it is almost the same power just less ft lbs. They handle very well, and it is much lighter then my 10 year old triple is. To bad it was only a 10 mile demo ride with a control rider up front. Never been on a monster but like the looks of them. Almost bought a s2r awhile back.

How many bright green speedtriples have you ever seen in that area? LOL It was like a movie. we stopped at the one lane to wait for her to catch up, then the state and local cops came flying by, then the ems and a ambulance, then a fire truck? We were a little worried when a firetruck come past. Guess they dont mess around down there when a call comes in.

It was a little dirty also. It is right by were the road is closed down to one lane. maybe 4 miles north of the one lane.

I like the semi naked sport standards. But the rest of the 20 something squidly kids who make up the bulk of the market like the shiny new race bikes. With more power then they could ever hope to use. If it has a half fairing and a 100bhp it would bruise there egos.

I cleaned the garage today after I did some other honey-do stuff(wife came home right afer I did) And I found my old foot pegs under my work bench! Still didnt put them on the bike though? I have not ridden anyone in years on a bike.

What everyone said. I have 4 kids they all know about my guns and they respect them. I start teaching them around 2 about shooting. My oldest is 9 and has been shooting his 22/20ga for 2 years now. I start mine on the range at 7. It is more dangerous to have teens in the house that have not grown up around guns then to have small children that have grown up shooting them.

Don't know if she is a member here? But she has been on a few rides I have been on. She was on the big ride we had a while back. Bike looked pretty messed up! Front to back like inya said most likely totaled. She seemed ok when we left her in the tow truck. Hope she keeps riding and does not let this get her down. I think we all have gone down at some point if you ride hard?!

repairs? what are those? I have almost 40k miles on my triumph and have had zero problems with it besides a speedo cable breaking. Oil, tires, and the valves 3 times. I upgraded stuff but not because it broke. Now those ducati's now thats a different story LOL!

One of these days we will get in a full ride to coshocton. NIce to meet the Mikes today. both had nice bikes. Capitan yeah it is hard to keep up with a zx10 passing cars. Fun while it lasted, hope downed rider is alright and heals up quick. She is gonna feel it in the a.m. for sure. What a d-bag that trailer guy was $450 for a ride back to cleveland!! Just so you know the bandit gets around 45mpg. Or around 220 miles per tank of gas. My 2000 had a full pipe stage three jet kit and pod filters and was still getting around 40mpg when ridden hard.

Also look into the bandit 1200. I know the motor is big but it has around a 105bhp with lots of ft lbs. They weigh in around 500 pounds and are very comfy. I had a 2000 and put around 40k miles on it, with many 3000+ mile 5 day road trips. They can be had cheap and are bullet proof. Can even get givi hard bags and turn them into a great sport tour bike. The vfr is nice but they are not cheap to buy. For the price range you listed you would be lucky to get a 7-10 year old vfr. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/1897014850.html
