I use 800 grit wet sand paper on a 2x4 and strop the blade to finish mine. I have one of the ceramic pull through sharpeners that I use to help smooth the edge out then finish by had on the wet paper.
The leek does look thin, but i don't use my knifes to pry things so i should be fine with it. I hope it holds a edge, i like my knives to be hair removal sharp at all times. I will write a quick review when i get it in.
Not the kershaw leek, that was the crkt pazoda I bought a bunch of those to give away to people. The crkt is ok but is cheap steel and needs sharpened all the time.
Went and started my spring work out routine today. We went to the nature center in the north rocky river park. They have a set of steps that will kick you butt. It is 135 steps up a steep ridge. We did laps up the stairs over the ridge down another set of steps We did about 4 laps and hiked 4 miles on the park path system. I plan to do this daily till I get my wind back. Only photo I could find online of the steps.
Yep that's the one I ordered off woot. I got the half serrated one. Bench made are nice but no better for the money then some other that are half the price.
Good to see you are working hard Brandon, think you need to go back to being an electrician at least we keep them busy with all the stuff that breaks down in flux.
