I have looked at them also, but for use in commuting and distance riding. I know a few people on here own one.

That is not acceptable, new guns must be shot within one week or forfeited to me to make good use of them. If it was a 9mm then you might still be looking for ammo to break it in. I wish they made the xds in a .40 I would have got one just to have a better ammo supply available.

Shot my buddies gen 4 19 at the last range trip. Still prefer my springfields, and his glock jammed three times.

The xds is smaller then both of those guns it needed a little bit more on the grip. My sausage fingers don't help either with small guns. Oh and nothing can help with a glock there just doomed from the get go...

So when is the ohioriders tactical handgun day gonna be? Think we could get a good turn out.

I just got in my pearce grip extension for my xds. Feel much better in the hand, range trip here soon to see how it helps there.

After some more searching I canceled the battery order as it had not shipped yet. I ordered some LiFePO4 batteries instead. They seem to be more compatible with lights and don't have as much danger of fire or bursting.

I plan on ordering a few of these to upgrade my old maglights. Cheaper then buying new lights. http://www.batteryjunction.com/tle-6exb.html

I only have one fancy light lol. Chebby seems to have a streamlight problem.

I have one of the 150 lum rayovac in my glove box good cheap lights.

I might pick up one more of these streamlights for my rifle with a pressure switch.

The fenix rc40 is another one that is super bright not to much money$350.

Very bright, but still not the throw of the beam the other had but looks good for the price.

Ok we need to find a pair of boots to fit 20 inch calfs? That's right my lower leg is under half your waist size find me a boot I can zip up. I have oxtar boots right now they zip 3/4 way up. I might need to look into a shorter boot to fit my popeye legs?

On a side note got a notice my batteries and charger are on there way should be here mid week. I plan to use my battery tester to make sure they are charged equal. I have heard bad things happen if they have a different charge in each battery in a light. Seen warnings and videos of fires, and exploding flashlights.

I know it is crazy overpriced but it is the brightest hand held light out there that I found when doing research. Think the specs say 5100 lumens with 120000 candela. Yes that is 120,000 as in there is a you tube video of this light setting a pack of matches on fire with it's beam. I think I started a new sickness with this flash light thing LOL!

The stinger led is a great light they have a good focused beam. For anyone wanting to burn someones eyes out look at this light http://www.eagletac.com/html/sx25l2t/specs.html the center lux is over 61000lux with 1100+ lum. I played with it at the gun show and the beam it put out is super white and very tightly focused. It is about the same size as a streamlight stinger and very close in price.
