The kit i ordered has 4 batteries, figure two in the light two in the charger. I dont have high hopes for them i read lots of bad reviews on every brand i could find. The ones linked above seemed to get more good reviews then bad ones, and for $30 i wont be out to much if they suck.

The batteries lasted my 2 days then went into a lower lumen output lasted 2 more days then died. I got rechargeable ones on the way. They should get here right about when my batteries die out again.

This streamlight can be set up to be used as a regular light with a low/high only setting. It turns on in low which is 33 lum, then goes to high which is 600 lum. It has three setting to choose from high/strobe/low, high only, and low/high only. I wish it had a low/high/strobe setting that would be the best setup for what I am using it for.

Flesh lights use batteries? I never seen one before I don't know LOL.

So I picked up a streamlight pro tac hl the other weekend, great light, and very bright(600lum). But it eats batteries like real fast LOL! I have been looking at re-chargable ones and ordered a set off amazon. I have a one use set in there now till the ones come in from amazon. It uses 2 cr123 batteries. My buddy from work has a place in grafton we shoot at in the summer. But its nice to have somewhere to shoot in the winter.

I will have to see if I can switch shifts I am on thirds that week and work friday night.

Edit my buddy still has a bb in his thigh from a war LOL! The good old days.

If you are on the west side of cleveland give select fire a try i like it much better then the other local ranges. Before it opened i was driving down to riverside range in cuyahoga falls. I stopped going to stonewall awhile ago.

Thats ok when the paint burns off the metal will turn black from the fire. Lol

High temp paint i hope, looks good. I might try one of these as i like to make stuff like this.
