For those not interested in the bike show I might try to set up a block of time on a range simulator that Select fire has right up the road. We could go play gun games then head over to the after party.

Very similar to what they have. If anyone in the north east wants to try this system out go to select fire in berea they have a similar set up. They also offer a sig p226 as one of the traing weapons they also have a glock. Very cool tool for sure i spend almost a hour playing with their simulator. It costs $15 for a 45 min block. Planning a trip with a group up there next month to rent it for a hour or two.

If you guys want i will check with fatheads to see if they can set aside a area for a group. Its not to far from the show, and they have good beers. Or someone else suggest a place and get planning.

Yes they can bite you throught the bottom of the hammock. Use a folded up blanket or sleeping bag , or a pad to lie on top of.

You should be good to go then. I like mine alot. I am planning a backwoods trip with my boys this summer using the hammocks.

What did you see the light and switch to .17hmr lol! If you were closer i have a buddy who is a avid 22 mag shooter.

That should work for stopping sketter bites but keep in mind from compressing the bag while in it the temp rating drop is dramatic. I was in a bag rated for 20 degrees on a 45 degree night and about froze from the wind. Its all trial and error but its a super comfy and fun way to camp.

Also be sure to put a sleeping pad under you when using this. The net keeps bugs out but does nothing for the skeeters that bite you through the bottom of the hammock. I use a cheap blue mat i picked up at walmart. I used it once with out the pad an woke up the next day with tons of bites on my back, legs, and butt.

Let me know when you plan to go out. I want to use mine a few more times this year then i did last year. I need to pick up a under quilt or try to make one for when its cool at night. Thermal loss is huge when sleeping in a hammock, i found this out last year on a 60 degree night.

Think i got mine on woot for $25. Holding up good so far. They pack down to nothing and are very light weight. I keep one in my b.o.b. with a tarp.

I plan to add a xds to the mix but am keeping my xd9sc. Great guns glws.

I have three of these and they work great. My kids liked mine so much we got them one each. I plan on doing a weekend hike backpack trip with it this summer. the kiddo in one this past summer.

Ten pound sledge hammers are cheap and reusable. I dont think they would feel much pain as they were splattered with one. Just think gallager smashing a water melon.
