I had a buck and his does walk up on me this morning. He busted me and ran off after a hurried shot. Saw a turkey as well this morning.

Thats sad i grew up going there over the summers. I miss that park and its sad to see whats became of it.

Rebuild kit is $38for the brakes, speedo i would upgrade to a vapor gauge they are under $150. The brakes are ok but you notice it when running hard like a 8/10 pace. It can be flogged pretty good at a fast pace before the brakes click when pull hard.

This^^ i plan to go for meat, if it has horns that will work also. I am packing up the camper today with everything non food, will throw the food in a cooler and pick up ice when i gas up saturday. Open invite if anyone is around the warsaw area and wants to swing by look for the big ugly black truck camper. Or i can send my number to ya.

I always hunt thru lunch. And have found some pretty good spots at woodbury over the last three years i have hunted there. Good luck to everyone that goes out for shotgun and stay safe.

Key lock and i added a pad lock with a latch with double female ends so it can be locked open when sleeping. I am uber paranoid after last years theft.

Picked up all my supplies for camp today. Will be cooking and freezing food on friday. I hate having to cook when i come back to camp. This year i am pre making most of my dinner meals and freezing them. All i will have to do is heat them back up when i want to eat.

Was thinking about doing them in the plasti dip spray stuff. It looks better in pics then in real life lol. Its a ten foot truck. Looks good from ten feet away or more.

I replaced our ge with a bosch much happier with it. Cleans better also.

It was 29 outside and 75 in the camper with the heater on low.

I just enjoy getting away for the week, being outdoors away from the city. It's hard for me to find a decent place to bow hunt on public that i feel safe with leaving any equipment at. And its such a long drive that i dont get out often for bow. I still have not found anyone with private propery that i can go bow hunt with. I am willing to drive, so thats not the problem.

Not bad i took the heater out to the camper to see how it worked. Outside temp is 37, thermostat on the wall was at 50. In about 15 mins it was at 75. Think it should keep me plenty warm, thanks for the input guys. I am going up to pick up a 12 foot hose sometime this week to run it off a tank.

Yeah it has regulators on each end, so it saves me some money.

Well just went out in the garage to test it out for a few mins, this thing puts off some heat! Put my hand three feet above it and could barely hold it thete on low. It fired right on the second click, both burners on for about ten mins had my legs burning up. Think it will roast me in that little camper even on low lol.

Per the manual i got it says 24" of space in front of it. I should be fine then with it in the walk way of the camper. I have read that you need to burn a bottle or two when new to burn off the new burner smell or the odor can be pretty bad, any info on this?

What do you mean 12sq in of ventalation? That much clear space around it. If so it would have to sit on the sink are as the main walk aisle would not give enough side clearence.

LOL no genny this year I am going stealth in the camper baby. I got the mr heater buddy for heat and lanterns for light and the range for cooking I'm good to go. Only draw back is I have to leave camp in it everyday as I am going solo due to everyone being to busy to hunt for a week. So I will have to find a new space if the old one is taken everyday, and no leaving wood anywhere or it will be gone when I get back. I am just going to walmart and getting five bundles of their fire wood and throwing it in the cab of the truck.

Yeah I have not seen a deer the three times I went out either.I hope shotgun is better then it has been. Well I am all ready (minus truck brakes) for deer camp this year. All supplies are ready picking up my heater on Tuesday, with a new led lantern. If I can't get these damn brakes figured out it is going to be a fun ride down. Who has a lead on a brake booster for a 1989 chevy 2500 in stock? Who needs brakes anyway right, I will just go real slow. LOL!!!
