  1. Quick update on my needing to borrow your truck Scott, I am looking to get a truck camper combo myself. Went out today and did the deal on the truck camper, while I was there we made a deal on his 3/4 ton extended cab 4x4 chevy. He is using it to haul a trailer still, so once he gets a truck in the next week or so I can pick up the combo. Not the actual truck but this is the same color and truck I am looking to get but with more rust LOL!!
  2. Yeah I did some more research on the hunting with it and it looks like a no go. I will see if I am going to keep it I watched some videos on them they seem like a lot of work to shoot?
  3. Could the revolver be used to deer hunt with? If not this gun might go on the chopping block?
  4. So i picked up two more guns today. A davis 32acp derringer. And a traditions 44cal cap and ball revolver that is still wrapped in plastic bag and oiled up never been used. The black powder is something totally new to me never messed with one before. So any info on them would be helpful. I saw they still make this model as it is listed on their website. Looks like it sells new for $335 which means I got a smoking deal on it..
  5. What you bitchin bout its like a free bump fire stock. Lol
  6. Get it and let me borrow it to haul my little truck bed camper in for deer week LOL!! Or better yet get it and the camper and come deer camping with me.
  7. When we going bow hunting lol or yote hunting?
  8. Have done an adjustable sling before with the webbing and cord for a guy that wanted more adjustable then preset length.
  9. The ones I tie with the king cobra knot uses anywhere from 80-100 feet of cord depends on the size of the sling. They take about 3 hours to tie, if you can knot fast if not closer to 4. Scruit how did you attach yours to the rifle? I still do make them if there is a interest pm me with details. Sorry to derail the thread Scruit.
  10. Silent I would say for paved path that bike is fine, But is not gonna be very comfy. I would look at a hybrid bike if it is mostly being ridden on paved paths, my wifes diamond back is way more comfy then my bike.
  11. What I can't add heavier oil and a bigger spacer like in motorcycle forks LOL! Do they sell progressive rate springs that drop in? I like my bike and dont ride enough to justify dropping a grand on a pedal bike.
  12. Spectre belt here it is adjustable with velcro much better the leather imo. Due to it is way more adjustable, for inside or outside carry. And was only $36.
  13. Like I said I do mine a bit different then his I use a cobra knot on mine doubled up. I have also done some with push button quick disconnects.
  14. And do you mean off road trails or bike path paved trails? That bike would do fine on paved and some light off road with normal use I would think. I found out real quick with my 12 y.o breaking a cheap walmart bike the first trip off roading that it is better to spend a bit more then $100 if you plan to beat on it off road. He broke the crank apart doing a jump that my bike handled fine with well over twice the weight on it. I will let the experts chime in on what to buy as I just dabble doing some trails local.
  15. For the little trail riding I do I just went to dicks and got a diamond back hard tail with disk brakes. It is a little aggressive for bike path riding but works. It has handled my fat ass in the woods without breaking so far. I might have to get my front shocks upgraded though as they bottom out under bigger drops and small jumps. But I think most cheaper bikes are not going to be rated for my weight in the shock area. LOL! Do they make shocks for 240-250 pounds?
  16. Thats not what the other guys said?!! Lolj/k
  17. Nothing big just smoking some homemade sausage over some cherry wood.
  18. Some work with a diamond rod could make them serrated.
  19. I stopped selling mine not worth the time for the money you make.
  20. I can do braclets in five mins. Up to three colors. You just need to tie a few hundred of them the speed will come with more practice.
  21. I do my own also but use a king cobra knot on mine. They do take some time to tie though. What did you use to attach it to the gun?
  22. Check out wally world camp ground I grew up there, great place right on the river.
  23. Quit buying new cars and getting speeding tickets and you could afford to keep your guns LOL! J/K GLWS
