Is there enough room under the scope to leave the rear buis on with a scope mounted? I have also been thinking about the burris AR-536 scope? It is short enough to leave irons on and 5x is not to bad for the 200 yards I normally shoot at.

Yeah Kent its basically a 308 AR. Semi auto twenty round mags.

I am looking at the burris AR-536 for my .308. Like the size and the 5x is better for range then a 3x.

Fin had four on the shelf sunday. All with crazy set-ups. The had a a4 dpms in .308 with a mark 4 scope and rings on it . A r-25 in .243 with a camo finish, and a set of heavy stainless barrel 5.56 rifles.

You know of anyone selling a cheap amp? My kid just got a bass for Christmas, the package deal looked great but the 5w amp is kinda wimpy. LOL! He is just starting out but I would not mind picking up a little bit bigger amp. And I hope he learns more then just the two green day songs he plays over and over...

Well i have only shot bolt guns at distance so far. But i can get three shots almost touching out of my 17hmr at 100. My 30/06 i was able to do about the same at 100-200 off the bi pod and a sand bag. If this carbine does inch groups at 100 i would be happy for a start. I need to mount a scope on the. 308 to replace the red dot. I have a 3x9 that i might swap over for now?
