  2. So why would a racer put SS brake lines on thier bikes if they only use them for 1 season and change brake fluid often?
  3. +1 Especially when happening on a new bike
  4. wow wtf.....People deserve to be beaten sometimes... Sorry to hear man...Hope u catch who did it.
  5. Yea, never been to BeaveRun... Id go if it was not requiring a membership, but I'm not gonna pay 75 fee to run BeaverRun once... I'm going to do Putnam, Grattan, Mid O, Jennings, Barber, Nelson
  6. for 6 you could get just about anything... Id stay around the 4000 range...should be able to get one of those for a great price... Both are great bikes!
  7. LOL WHAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!! Good luck handling that!
  8. I sold mine a few months back for 3500 never been down and had 6000 miles...Keep looking..They are out there!
  9. http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=2759 You might be a good fit... Its a 54/44 and thats what my suit is...
  10. Here she is! PS... My favorite sounding bike I've ever owned... The Holeshot High mount exhaust are SICK SICK SICK!
  11. Sounds like you are going to like your sv1000 as much as I did!
  12. Hmm...Its like..If you are comparing to a newer liter bike with 170-200hp its very underpowered and if you are comparing to a newer 600 its overwehight and bulky with same hp... Its a fun bike to ride on the twisties and a great road bike... But IMO it might get frusterating at the strip, because you will be losing to 600's, and at the track its not the most agile bike out there... However if you are just out to get your fix on the strip and track, it would be a completely FUN bike to ride...Just not that competitive compared to the newer stuff out there! With all that aside...I miss my sv1000 very much!
  13. The S version isnt the naked version...Only year they made the true naked was 2003
  14. I had an 03 sv1000 naked... I loved the bike, but the sv1000 wouldn't be my first pick for track or drag... Its a very fun little street bike and makes decent power, but you would get bored lugging that overweight underpowered thing around the track... You would be better off on an rc51 if you were stuck on a twin, or maybe just get a regular liter bike.... Just my 2 cents
