I'm sure we'll cross paths again soon. I pretty much left Lorain in 92'. 6yrs in the Marines, 5 yrs of school in Akron, 3 yrs in Cleveland, 3 yrs in upstate NY, and now 8 months in far far east Cleveland. Add a lot of beer drinking in between and that's my life story.

Yeah. Good times guys. Nice to meet some new people. Definitely have to do it again. Inya-Lorain huh. I actually was raised in Lorain. My Mom and stepfather still live there. I make it out that way every now and then.

Unfortunately all tied up this weekend with family obligations. But if the weather is good for Sunday I'll ride to the family obligations. Still not as fun as getting together and riding some good roads but better than nothing.

I might be able to do something the weekend of the 13th. Wife's got a girlfriend coming into town which kind of gets me a free pass to do whatever. If we get good weather in the low 70's or so motorcycle ride it is if it is warmer than that I might take the boat out for it's first run to blow the cob webs out of her.

+1. Thats kinda of the deal i got when I bought my 06 1000RR. Bought it Jan. of 07 they were trying to make room for the new inventory. Got mine for $8400.

I don't think it's about being scared to cross the border. Pennsyltucky isn't all that bad.

The 3 of us is fine with me. Let's just hope the weather holds out. I'm starting to see conflicting reports.

I have the VH-Sport RO and it carriers my CBR1000RR with no problem. The furthest I've traveled with it on the carrier is 450 miles. It's a little unnerving at first but I just try to forget it is back there. I have a Chevy 2500HD truck not sure if the Element would have a rated tongue weight to carrier it let alone the short wheel base you might actually affect how the car drives.

Yeah depends on everyone else. It don't bother me I'm an early riser. So I could even do 8 or 9 if need be.

Still trying to get a consensus. I'm sure the others will chime in sometime later today.

The forecast looks promising still. You guys have an idea in your head when you want to meet up. I'm assuming earlier the better. Me and "Lost" can meet at the BP right off the Vrooman exit and buzz the freeway or whatever to meet up. You guys wrangle anyone else up or is it just us 3 again? I have two maybes so far but nothing definite.

I was out for about 2 hours myself. Weather was perfect. Same observation up here by the Lake. Maybe saw a few sport bikes. 100's of Harley's wearing the infamous sleeveless shirt with the "dorag" and I maybe saw 5 helmets.

So far the weather is looking perfect this Saturday. Hopefully it doesn't change like usual. Are people still thinking about doing this ride this Saturday?

That ride is pretty much identical to the route another friend of mine with the motard wanted to take. I'm willing to do it and I'll see if he is game. I'll send him a note now so he can maybe plan it. So if the weather cooperates next Saturday the 30th lets try and do it. I'll clean the dust off my motorcycle camera and if we find a decent stretch of road maybe we can take some video clips.

Same here. Looks like a sweet ride not 100% sure my a$$ could take it but might be willing to try.
