  1. I just pulled one off my bike because it wasn't responding correctly when DTM Brian was tuning my bike. I replaced It with a Bazazz unit which seem to work much better. The bazazz actually controls all 8 injectors vs. 4. 58cycle is selling them for $298 with free shipping I believe.
  2. I thought if you were in the novice group there was no need to flush out your coolant. I better reread the requirements:).
  3. Jbot you are going in the right direction. It is all about spring rate. His bike was oversprung in the front at 1.2kg/mm and moved to .95kg/mm which you are going to as well. It seems that Honda CBR's are undersprung in the front most of the time. My bike stock had a 1.0kg/mm spring in it and I couldn't achieve the correct sag numbers which is the first place to start to determine whether you need a softer or stiffer spring. So I personally had to go to a 1.1kg/mm spring for my delicate frame.
  4. Thanks. Also looking forward to the riding season. Get my new stator in the mail tomorrow so hopefully that get me back out on the road.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJHCN-YofMM Well after two trips to Columbus, one discarded PC3, Bazazz install, and one dead battery she is tuned. 150hp/76ft-lbs. I can't thank Brian enough for his patience. Just seems that I don't have the best of luck. PC3 wasn't responding as it should so the first trip down was a bust. The Bazazz was much better. My bike seemed finicky at WOT but was much better at tuning all the other throttle positions. Battery issue I believe is a stator issue after testing it according to the manual. Which seems to be a common problem on some cbr1000RR's. Hopefully the stator on it's way out wasn't the cause of the tuning headaches we were having.

  7. Same exact reason when I bought mine. Just didn't have the space for a trailer when I lived in a small townhouse.
  8. I use the Versa-haul which is similar. Seems to work pretty good and never had an issue with it toting my bike over 1000 some miles so far. I have a 2500HD so tongue weight is not an issue. I will say with shorter wheelbase vehicles there might be issues with tongue weight and driving issues by hanging 500 lbs off the back of the vehicle.
  9. I'll post after this weekend. I just want Brian to work his magic to make it smooth across the board for my setup. Not overly concerned with the numbers. If it's down a few horsepower this bike is still extremely fast for me anyways.
  10. Cool. Yeah all I have is an Arata slip-on and the BMC race filters.
  11. What numbers did this bike throw down? Mods? I actually have an appointment with Brian this weekend for my 06' and looking forward to it.
  12. Man for that price I might get a set for my 4 wheeler.
  13. They are bad ass toys for the immortals with endless pockets of money. I was watching "pass time" one day and they had a couple twin turboed lambos on their and the guy said It costs upwards of 60-70k to put a TT setup on the already 200k vehicle. You could buy a lot of shit for 270k.
  14. Doing early Easter on Saturday and I'm stoked:cool:.
  15. I'm fresh out of my knee pads:). I actually might take it to MPH near state 8 when I get some time here in the next few weeks to tweak the suspension.

  17. Any update on how many have signed up already? I plan on getting there Saturday early afternoon just to check things out, get set-up, and what not. At these track days are there some sort of outfit present that could maybe check my suspension set-up for a fee? Usually what is the going fee? I've set my suspension to magazine articles with certain weight individuals and I've never touched it since. The bike seems more than capable but i'm not that good of a rider so I probably wouldn't know one way or the other. But it would nice to know if my suspension was in the ball park for my weight. Thanks for the info.
  18. Figured it out. It took an hour to upload to youtube for a 2 minute clip but it worked. Just messed around with the editing. The speed is 2x in the beginning, normal in the middle and half speed at the end. Still not to shabby at half speed with 30fps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCk0cVDzOo8
  19. Cool Video. How'd you upload to Youtube using music without it being a copyright issue. One video I made with a Linkin Park song and the exhaust faded in the background they deleted my audio and I had to use a song from there library. Also how did you get those little pop up annotations in your video? That was pretty neat.
  20. Cool video. Did you use the suction cup mount? To your headlight? It's hard to find a flat spot on the front of the cbr.
  21. I guess I'll have to figure it out. I have a Mac. Do the editing in iMovie it has a "share to YouTube" drop down and I chose the largest upload and it uploads what you see. So if i record in 720 I should be able to upload 720 to YouTube? I do notice my vids only have the 360 or 480 view.
