  5. No beetle bags. I want Givi removable luggage. Just looking for recommendations on which bags would work the best.
  6. I have a 2008 Busa that I'm looking to get Hard luggage for. I have narrowed it down to a few different Givi bags. I am looking for anyone's advice if they dealt with these bags on a Busa & which one's would work the best. 1. Givi E41 2. Givi Monokey V35 3. Givi E360 4. Give E36 I already have a top case that I will use in conjunction with the bags. I just want to be able to eliminate it when I go on long rides with the wife because I bought her the Corbin backrest and still have enough storage space for both of us.
  7. In an airplane? Surely your old crow(Blackbird) won't fly like an eagle(Hayabusa).
  8. Tablets are just that tablets. They are not to replace a laptop. With that being said I take my ipad when I travel. I have access to Google Documents as well as dropbox. Either way you will get used tothe quirks of which device you pick. Just make sure if you go android that you get one that is upgradeable and has access to the full google app store! I tried most of the tablets and just could not get away from the ipad. I like the ipad because I can watch my gopro hero2 on the ipad along with edit the videos when I'm taking a week long rip on the motorcycle.
  9. I left out one thing....Religious nuts. I don't care what religion you practice just keep it in your own church. I hate Jehova's knocking on the door on a weekend morning. I sprayed a few down with a garden hose when I was young with a hangover. Ever hear a Jehova swear? I did. The best bumper sticker ever. "Jeseus loves me...But everyone else thinks I'm an Asshole!" I have a ccw and carry but I have not opened carried yet. I am not into advertising as it takes away the element of suprise. Even though I do not open carry doesn't mean I want to take someone elses right to open carry. I do not smoke but I do not agree with the no smoking policy for the simple fact that if they want to infringe upon those rights what is next? Goverment needs to be dumbed down. We have way to much representation.
  10. I don't want to come across as an Apple fanboy but in the long run you will be happy with an iPad. Reason is it gets more software updates. I like the android system but instead of all androids getting a software update with new features only select models get an update. I have had both and use them all around for business, home use, & travel. I ended up favoring the iPad in the end.
  11. I feel 25 IQ points dumber after wasting my time reading this whole post. I spent 8 years in the Marines so every American has the right to choose. Some choices are smarter then other choices but that is why we live in the U.S. What I cannot stand is some asshole trying to infringe upon my choices by pressing there views on me. Smoke..don't smoke Abort...don't abort Drink...don't drink Sex....virgin OC...CCW I DO NOT need to justify myself to anyone because of choices I make. I made the choice to defend this country.
  12. Is the hero 2 that much better of a camera than the original hero? I'm looking to buy one & I have looked at internet videos and mostly see a slight comparison. I'm wondering if it is the actual camera or my lcd screen.
  13. Buying a nice boat. Gonna buy an sv1000 next year.

  15. In Ohio if a teacher gets the School Boards permission and goes through OPATA training then they can carry at school. If they can go through all of that then they must keep the gun on there person at all times & never let other teachers or students know. The only people who know which teachers carry are the school board & the principal. Parents are not privy to that info & will not know if their child's teacher is carrying.
  16. Just so you know you cannot pick up the items from Rich Roush. You have to get them mailed to your house. Sorry to hear about your wreck. Now you know where to get cheap parts.
  17. Fairings will stop the wind buffeting on the freeway but will hold the heat. If you find it to be too much but some heat tape under your seat but make sure it doesn't contact the battery terminals.
  18. Heavier bike means wider turn. Also means throttle response. With a light bike you may be able to correct coming into a curve a little hot or too fast. Heavier bike you need to come into a turn higher & let off the throttle. Once you enter the curve find your line follow through once you see the other end then open the throttle back up. Hell all that weight with too much throttle will keep you upright & high siding off the curve. You ultimately run out of room exiting the road.
  19. Thanks. I traded the SV in for the Busa. I do & don't regret. The Busa is still decent in the corners just need to get used to the weight issue. Took a few set of tires to get comortable but the pilot road 2's are nice tires. I miss the nimbleness of my SV in the twistys but don't miss the 2up riding on it. With Helibars & Buell pegs the Busa is comfortable as hell. If the wife doesn't whine about a pee break I don't even know she is back there. BTW if your looking for lowers for an Sv the cheapest price I found them were on http://www.accessories4bikes.com/index.php?cPath=37_161_436 which is rich roush motorsports in medina ohio.
  20. Here is where I rode on Sunday. http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=621098 anyone with an iphone or droid should download this app & try it.
  21. Yeah we made home 2up. She was hurtin for awhile after we got home. My wife is a pain in the ass sometimes but a trooper when she is on the back of the Busa. She made 2 other 1 day trips like that. Last year we went to the gap & rode 10 hours down & 10 hours back the following week. Hell even after a 10 hour trip down & arriving at 12:30am we left the gap at 7am to head to Dilliard Georgia for brunch.
  22. Sorry for not getting back to you guys. I was busy as hell through out the week. I put 32 hours in by the end of Tuesday. I ended up riding yesterday to West Virginia & put about 610 miles on yesterday. Left at 6:30am 2up and arrived home at 11:30pm
