Thinking back that dude driving the TL was amazingly chilled out about the situation. All I heard him say was "are you ok" and then he calmly got on his phone and reported the accident. He didn't even seem remotely pissed! I had a woman rear end me last fall while I was sitting at a stop light. I was REALLY pissed...just because accidents, estimates, insurance, repairs and rental cars are a huuuge pain in the ass. Ironically, the woman who hit me was driving that identical Acura TL...even the same color! wierd.

I freaked out when I saw you hit the ground. It was one of those "passenger hitting the imaginary brake" things...I saw it comming in slow mo from a distance and wanted to get you to see it in time. I was thinking stop STOP STOP...bam! Make good out of a shitty situation and chalk it up as a lesson learned. I bet you will give cars PLENTY of space from now on,won't you? And the bike was ridable...and you still had half a right foot peg to get you home. That couldn't have worked out better!

I plan to check out iron pony around 1ish but I definitely want to get a good ride in tomorrow afternoon while the weather is nice!

Just a heads up to anyone who wants to try it but has not played before...give the Riverside drive course a shot first. It is easier than Blendon and Hoover IMO. You may spend an hour in the woods at those courses searching for the disk you shanked.

Yea, I'm bummed out I missed the meet but riding hocking hills today was bad ass!! That 250 miles didn't feel very long until that last 15 minutes on I-70. Good times, I can't wait to do it again.

I love bee golf but it's been awhile since I played. I was just riding pass the one off riverside last night thinking about how I want to get out and play again. I used to play almost every other day a few years back but now I have a job and not a ton of free time.

I am seriously concidering it b/c I am afraid to mess with it. I could probably handle it but I would rather put it in someone's hands who already has the tools and knows exactly what they are doing. PS: Moose, I plan to hunt you down at the spring meet. I'm the skinny guy on the black 650R! haha I won't be there till later so hopefully you will have a few drinks in you by then and will be more willing to help me out.

+2 to that! Oh well, i figure I will let them have their fun...i'll just make sure I don't drop the soap anywhere near an Ohio-riders meet. So back on topic, someone buy this jacket!

Daaaamn, that sucks. Just one more reason why insurance is rediculous on those things.

Man, a lot of gay jokes around these parts. I'm glad you were able to find the deeper meaning behind his post.

Nice choice but I would want the fully faired model myself.

You caught me...I thought no one could crack it buy you proved me wrong.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That's exactly what I told my girlfriend and she about shit herself. Hey, it worked when I was a kid and put a hole in my parent's wall...right?! (until we moved) Eh, it is my condo so I do take pride in it...even for being the basement.

I bought this jacket last September from Iron Pony. I was new to riding and gear so I bought the medium only to find it was too big for my skinny ass. I bit the bullet, bought a small and this has been sitting in my closet unused since last October. I rode maybe 10 times max with this jacket so it is still in brand new condition. It comes with a very warm liner that can be removed and has plenty of vents for warm days. The shoulders, elbows and spine have very good protective armor and the pads can also be removed. It is black and silver. The silver piping is reflective but appears to be white in the pictures from the camera flash. If you or a friend is looking for a jacket, take a look at this becuase it is as good as what you would find in the store. PM me if you are interested, thanks! SOLD! Here are all the specs: • The 600 Denier Carbolex shell combines with a Rainguard® waterproof/breathable barrier for a garment that protects from the road and rain. • 1680 Denier Ballistic Polyester shoulder and elbow panels provide abrasion resistance in the impact areas. • Mandarin style collar features a soft microfiber trim. • Zippered shoulder vents, sleeve vents and rear exit vent provide flow-through ventilation. • 360º Phoslite® reflective piping and Cortech’s signature reflective rear triangle increase nighttime visibility. • Adjustable sleeve take-up straps at the forearm and bicep help secure elbow armor and material. • Removable, CE approved armor at the elbow and shoulder with an articulated Triple Density back protector. • External padded shoulders, elbows and back for additional protection. • Cortech’s removable Z.O.Q. (Zip-Out Quilted) liner features warming 100g polyfill insulation. • Waterproof zippered chest map pocket, zippered hand warmer pockets and dual zippered fanny pack with internal pouch pocket and mobile media pocket. • Adjustable waist belts with TPR pulls help to fine tune the fit. • Includes a jacket/pant zipper attachment with the pant side included

Haha, not really. Stock 17's...but 35 pounds rolling down the stairs has a decent amount of momentum. The tread surface is what made contact with the wall...not the face of the wheel. It's about a 1.5x2 foot hole...it's just crazy to see how high on the wall it is. That thing got some good air time! The only thing I am really worried about is the corner where the 2 walls meet. If it were in the middle of a large wall, that wouldn't be quite as tricky. I also realized that both walls are painted a different color that I will need to find matching paint for...what a pain in the ass this will be. Lesson: Carry one wheel at a time dumb ass.

I get by just fine with my FWD and can control exactly where it goes in a sideways slide but after tearing it up a few winters ago in a turbo legacy, nothing is better than 4 spinning wheels. FUN AS HELL! My next car will be AWD...not just for control but the fun factor too.

Yea this was a pain in the ass last weekend when I was trying to meet up with someone for dyno day. 12 hours is a long time! I'm over my 50 post mark now though so I'm set.

I am a legal assistant for a local foreclosure law firm. I prepare bidding instructions for properties going to auction. Been pretty busy too. I am just happy to have a job!

Good call. I didn't think about boxing in a new frame between the studs. I finished my garage and used a lot of these same steps. I just hope I can get the new section to blend with the existing drywall that has layers of paint already on it.

I totally fucked up...here's the story. I was swapping out the wheels and tires on my car. I went down in my basement to get the other set and thought I would save time by grabbing 2 wheels at a time instead of one. No problem right? Well, I grab 2 and head up the stairs. When I get to the top step, one of my gloves slips and the tire goes bouncing down the stairs, hits the last step, bounces up and smashes a HUGE hole in the drywall...faaaaaaack!!!! It was like it happened in super slow mo too and there wasn't shit I could do to stop it. I just stood there for a good 10 seconds staring at what just happened. So now it looks like I have a new project... I am just trying to figure out the best way to fix it. Do you think it would be easier to cut the out a section of drywall and replace it or should I just try to pull the broken pieces forward and patch it? Any crafty home improvement guys here?

Damn, I still need to check out hocking hills. It sounds like a good time! Catching air...maybe not. I've caught air on a few railroad track inclines. It's usually fun but once I hit an akward bump and it almost threw me. I had to check my pants for streaks.

It's only monday though...it could be 40 or 70 degrees but we won't really know until it gets closer. I'm crossing my fingers for nice weather though!

Those are some great pics! I wish I stayed a little longer though.
