I got some BVP stands from Iron Pony. They are pretty cheaply made but you get what you pay for. They still get the bike off the ground. The only pain in the ass is that I have to adjust the rear spool arms each time I use it. If I had the cash, I would have a pitbull.

Anyway, I'll just throw out my suggestion to everyone. Would anyone want to meet at the BP on Hilliard-Rome? It's only about a mile west of 70/270...all you do is take the hilliard rome exit south (2nd ramp) and the BP is on the right as soon as you get off the freeway. Then, all we'd have to do is shoot down Hilliard-rome to Broad and we are there. We would be close and no one would really have to go out of their way because it is so close to the meet. Really, just a suggestion. I don't care though...if the most popular spot is McD's off tuttle I could head up there.

Speeding is definitely my biggest temptation. This was one reason I decided to get the 650R instead of a CBR/R6/GSX-R...plus I do a lot of commuting. The twin can really get up and go around town but my top end doesn't even compare to an I4. I love the CBR and test rode one...but I decided I don't have the self-control to stay away from redline. The 650 can get me into enough trouble anyway.

Yea, meeting at tuttle would be perfect b/c I live in Hilliard and it's on the way. So, 6:30ish is the usual meeting time at that McDonalds??

Last night was a much better turn out than I expected! I felt like a schmuck riding up there alone and not knowing anyone but I already met a few of you. Dallas, Jesse and April were a few people I talked to and everyone else seemed cool. Plus, I ran into my sister on the patio. I will definitely be back many more times this season!

Niiiiice. I only caught one bike night last year in October so I'm exicted to head up there more this year. I couldn't believe the turnout and from what I was told, that was only about half the bikes that usually came.

I have spent a ton of time on Riverside drive and know it really well. I have been riding up into delaware and back many times. Before I got into bikes, it was often the "bake route" of choice.

Will that topless chick be there if I go? I don't care if it takes a little while to get there but Hocking hills is a pretty good hike. Harb67, if you are cruising out there, let me know. I may have to check it out first though. When are you getting your bike back?

I'm getting bored with the same old roads and scenery. I live over in Hilliard off I-70 and Hilliard Rome. The great thing about this area is I am literally a minute away from BFE but all I see in every direction is flat, straight roads...yea, I know that's Ohio. I'm looking for a few twisties and some better views that I can take advantage of as the weather gets warmer. All I hear from everyone is "hocking hills" but what roads are really good to ride? I've lived on the west side my entire life and almost everything east of 23 is pretty foreign to me. (as far as back roads go) I am ready to explore so point me in a direction that's not the ghetto.

This is true...but I've rented appartments and getting things fixed can be a huge pain in the ass. I've been without heat for days and I've lived with a broken refrigerator for weeks because my deadbeat landlord was a lazy piece of shit. At least now that I own, I have more control over these things. Sure, I'm stuck with this place for a while but I'm cool with that. My mortgage is the same as that shithole apartment anyway.
