  1. Wow nice bike, gl with the sale!
  2. Are you kidding me? You're going to pay them extra on top of buying a bike off of them that is completely trashed? 1 have board people help you out, 2 Lawyer it up and make them cover it + loss of use and whatever else you can get out of them, 2.5 make them buy it back from you with or without said lawyer. Do not get hosed any further, Spring is here and you are making payments on a bike you can't even ride!
  3. Last year never makes a difference a year later I seriously can't figure out what they were smoking over at Kawi headquarters when they designed the body of that zx10 . . .
  4. Oh it's a conspiracy! Wait no it's not, the Kawi is fugly and slow lol
  5. Looks like BMW and Aprilia were too late for the show this year. I think MC-USA might be holding off on their test for those bikes. Still a good read, I drool everytime I see one of those new CBR's.
  6. Dave, I would advise against you riding in your current condition
  7. Riding for a couple of years now. Although I did do some wheel to wheel car racing last year which was fun. Well if you're looking for a bike a 600 is a great place to start. Don't forget to buy good gear too (no backwards baseball caps and tshirts ) . Glad to see you stuck with the Stang, it looks sick!
  8. lol it's Dover I used to drive the loud Silver 325i and just post a lot of nonsense on DubOhio
  9. +1. I gave him some rep back.
  10. That song will forever remind me of only one thing: FTW
  11. It's a lot more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. That's my last cent
  12. There is a LOT of bad advice floating around on this thread. Don't overestimate yourself, just because you've gotten brave enough to pin the throttle on your bike doesn't mean you're ready to upgrade. Throw in some corners, unexpected situations on the road (cars, gravel, rain, etc) and you'll find certain bikes are way over certain skill levels. There are reasons why Europe gives licenses based on cc's and makes you step up slowly over time. It's like a guy I talked to the other day, convinced he wanted a 1k Sportbike. He had ridden other bikes like Gs500 and 600's, even an R1. Impressed I asked him what kind of riding he did. "Ya know, through the city, like High St and stuff." Unless you're highly experienced or want to pose you don't need a liter. Don't take advice from Squids! You know who they are. My .02 cents
  13. I don't know anything about the older ceptors, I would recommend www.vfrworld.com for the older bikes. Lots of info on the older models over there. Then again we have a lot of mechanics on here as well.
  14. It looked like a warplane in my garage, it's odd how that makes you not want to make it look too pretty.
  15. Don't leave out the Triumph Daytona! But yeah sit on them and buy whatever feels right, these companies are so competitive you won't be able to tell the difference in performance unless you're a professional rider. P.S. Spellcheck is your friend (sorry had to do it)
  16. Wow, total bragging thread huh? Got rid of my last car project for a bike and haven't looked back. It used to always be BMW's for me though. I like corners (especially AutoX). Some of my old whips: In action: I also got to drive on a LeMons 2008 team and got maybe 5 hours wheel to wheel racing experience. I can't wait to do it again this year. That's Ze Brick and should be returning this year. So yes, I like cars.
  17. Coolness. If it's not the p40 I'm glad it'll be that white. I also agree about white wheels, I would not want to keep white wheels clean.
  18. I know this, that's why P-40=VFR and P-38=R6.
  19. Dang, glad you're ok. Lesson learned, get back on the horse!
  20. Might as well sell it now, depreciation will hurt you over time and the money in the bank wouldn't hurt. By the time you're back up to speed (hopefully) you might want something milder to ease back into the hobby. Sorry to hear about the injury, hope to hear you're riding with us again soon. Rest up!
