  1. yeah, but that will only give me like an hour at the pony
  2. that's why i'm waiting til 6. which means i probably wont actually leave til 630 so it shouldnt be too bad. 430-530 is generally the worst.
  3. Just tossing this out there as I know this probably wont apply (or matter) to most of you but if anyone is interested I work for Scotts and will do what I can to hook any of you up if you're interested as they pay us a bonus for signing ppl up ourselves instead of them calling in to the company. Shoot me a PM if you'd like. Columbus metro only. I know this probably is the wrong area to post, but i cant post in the Other Shit for Sale yet.
  4. anyone in the south columbus/grove city area? i'm about to head up to Iron Pony to check out some new stuff and figured i'd see if anyone else wanted to ride. plan to leave around 6, i know short notice but whatever.
  5. farmland usually means long boring roads though...
  6. really? i dont know ANYWHERE around here, so if someone knows good roads, i'd be up for it. i just can get out until like 4 or so
  7. i'd really like to hit some twisty roads down in hocking hills if anyone is up for it.
  8. tuesday or wedneday afternoon are gonna be 70. I wanna go ride, but i'm tired of all the straight away farm roads... anyone know a good place and want to go? i wouldnt be set to go until about 4 though, gotta work
  9. requirements? never done a track day before but i've always wanted to.
  10. i'm about to head out for a ride if anyone is down in the south columbus/grove city area. i've never been up to IP, so i might make a ride up there to plan what to do with the next paycheck
  11. we should install SAMS on our bikes.
  12. wtf makes a bike made for women? Isn't it more just a bike made for smaller stature people? And calling it "the bike for women" automatically bars any man (even if he does fit it well) from ever buying it. Is the expensive bike-owning female motorcyclist market really that big?
  13. i could never understand the economic sense of using airplanes to catch people speeding.
  14. yeah seriously. i guess not a lot of ppl alter their paint jobs. good to know my bike is extremely one of a kind!
  15. just sayin that there are what, 3 color variations every year, i wanna see some bikes with some cool new looks to them.
  16. just as long as you show clear favoritism for R6 owners
  17. so apparently everyone loves having stock bikes that look like color variations of every other bike out there...
  18. I've been trying to get the guys i used to play indoor rec soccer with to join a league up in columbus, but none of the dickwads wanna drive up here so I figured I'd ask around here and see if anyone is planning an upcoming recreational league, indoor or outdoor. I saw back in january someone was looking for ppl to play but that was and older thread. I'm not stellar but I love playing and have been dying to play since moving up here.
  19. you do those? cause i'd seriously be interested in getting some custom paint work done
  20. those arent yours are they? still sick. anyone know where you can get work like that done?
  21. That should sum it up. I get just as many biker waves from Harleys as I do from sportbikes. Hell, I even let the scooter guys have a wave, it's all the same risk and in the end one big two-wheeled fraternity.
  22. While it's granted that all bikes are cool to look at, it gets pretty old scrolling through the same stock paint job bikes that, visually anyway, really only vary in what exhaust can they have. I wanna see some badass custom paint jobs! I've always wanted to really get something sick done and I like that the 08 and 09 CBRs have started to do some cool graphic work. Anyone done something similar?
  23. I just took my R6 in for a for a front tire install and the sales lady seemed really nice. They had an 07 R6S with 170 miles for like $6000. immaculate shape. The tech who did my tire was concerned bout whether or not I had been misled into buying a bike with a salvage title (i have some dmg on the bike). Good experience from my point of view. Oh, and at $50 for an on the bike tire install and balance... can't beat it.
