yeah, i considered the mobil 1 4t and seen it at AZ, but i've heard mixed reviews about it. Motul stuff has always been highly regarded. I think, and correct me if i'm wrong, but Mobil 1 is class III PAO oil and 5100 is dino + class IV ester-based.

quite the contrary, i loved bragging about having a vehicle that was faster than a sportscar and gets better mileage than a prius (which it no longer is at 44 mpg). i guess we'll see next oil change if the amsoil is somehow bogging it down. not that i doubt it's good oil, but at $16 qt. vs. $9, i'll be getting the Motul.

man finally! i've been looking all over to see a 2nd gen R6 with HIDs installed and they look great! I'd been looking into DDM Tuning's set as well so I just ordered the 6000k dual set. Looks great and now I'm really excited to get these in. Care to mention how you did the install?

The gas is a maybe, i dont remember what i was getting this time last year but i think it was fine then as this is the first time i've seen it dip low. The commuting is all about 18 miles of riding each way so plenty of warm-up time. This is the first time i've put seafoam in the tank too. Hell, even when i first bought the bike and it had nasty ass oil in it, it was gettin about 50. and I am worried about it cause i like getting 170 miles per tank instead of 135. it's annoying

So i normally get about 49 to 50 MPG on my 2004 R6, but this season i've not gotten above 44 and I really dont think my riding style or habits have changed. Mostly commuting miles. All I've really done since last season was change the oil from Motul 5100 to AMSOIL (both 10w40) and used some SeaFoam in the old oil before the change. I also changed from a K&N to Mobil 1 oil filter. Should I really be seeing this big of a dive in MPG? I'll likely go back to the 5100 on my next oil change.

I like how the rationale is headphones keep you from hearing well and yet we all advocate wearing ear plugs while we ride... if you can hear anything that helps you know where another car is (other than a horn, which usually means "too late") with the wind noise and earplugs in you're special.

While this is sarcastic I would like a real answer: who the fuck cares about the defecit? America has been spending WAY more than we have at the Fed level for decades. Can anyone remember when the national debt was not increasing? I can't so who cares? It's not like we have any plans of ever paying that back. It's oddly reminiscent of the housing market and taking out loans we cant afford. I mean, if the deficit was 100 trillion dollars, would it really matter? They would still pass the budget and still spend it regardless of whether or not they only really had 1 trillion of actual money to spend.

lets not forget that presenting false documents would be a crime if caught. i hate they pulled you over for 81 in a 65. I do 85+ all the time on the highways around columbus, but that's only because that's the speed EVERYONE is driving. I get passed doing 80 most of the time.

I was rolling it backwards down the driveway and when i went down the curb the front wheel was turned farther than i expected and the bike tipped. by the time i caught it, it was past the point that i couldnt lift it from the straddle position so it essentially got "laid down." Only scratched the right side slider, but it was embarrassing and my neighbor watched the whole thing and came to help me lift it back up. I'm paranoid about making sure the kickstand touches the ground before i even start to move my plant leg.

i think that's the most likely solution. I mean, in reality this bonus stuff is what, less than $200 million of the $800+ billion etc. and is a great way to distract from any of the more important issues.

Do you honestly believe Congress couldn't have put a "No Bonuses" clause in there that would override ANY contracted bonuses? Not buying it. And giving away $180 billion to one company should never be easy to get it set up properly. Didnt they just put caps on some people's salary? It's money they wouldnt have gotten if the company collapsed. And yeah, can you imagine if you went in to work, did everything wrong and lost billions of company dollars and they paid you millions?
