  1. Welcome, seems to be a lot of great people here. I had a zx12r stolen many years ago. Walking out to no bike is one of the worst feelings there are. Sorry you had to experience that.
  2. Hey everyone, It was definitely nice meeting up with you all. I suck at names, so I'm destined to forgot some of you. You all seem like great people, aside from the drama! Was kind of odd seeing more cars then bikes there though when it was a sunny day! Oh yeah...I almost forgot...Green Stickers!!!
  3. Both at the same time, but if I had to pick only one....then it would be Mendez without a doubt!
  4. angel food cake..... mmmmm...that might not make it to whitehall!

  6. works for me, the more that go, the more enjoyable, and hopefully, safer we are.
  7. 54 is warm enough to ride to Whitehall, so you better be planning on it DollFace! I don't know how you are planning on getting there, but we can head up Industrial Parkway, then go through Dublin or something to stay at slower speeds if you are worried about the temps. Or 36 to 23 to columbus, there are several options to go slower speeds and stay a bit warmer. I'm easy, I'll go any way you want. I have to set an alarm clock to be there by 1:00 (yeah yeah i know) so you better be riding!
  8. I'll head up there for a little while. I'll bring some rice krispy treats..those will be easy to pack!
  9. Kind of yeah, River rd is the name of the road when you cross Rt37. They are all the same direction, just changes names a few times.
  10. Hey there, I'm new around this site, not really sure where to put this, so I figured Columbus area would work. Basically, I had to take my bike to the shop to get the fork seals replaced last week. Luckily for me, I have a suburban and a couple different trailers to choose from, so it is not really a problem for me, but on the way home, it got me thinking. Not everyone has a truck, or a trailer, and there might be some people new to the area that don't really know anyone and need a lift sometime. Is there any place on these forums that has numbers or email addy of people willing to help out? Is it something that people would be interested in? Am I just being dumb, or took one too many meds and missed it? It seems like a decent idea to me anyways. I remember a tire blow out, 45min from home, 20 miles from nearest shop (that was closed!) and no one I knew had a truck. That day just plain sucked. Anyways, I figured I would post the idea, let others say if it's an acceptable idea, or if I just need to look harder on the site! Have a great day!
  11. Hey there, Also from Marysville. Best "closest" ride here that I have found, is just head E on 36, pass by 257, (where the flashing lights are maybe 10miles from marysville) go over the river, then turn either left or right. Left is Warren road, Right is Klondike rd. Left can be pretty scenic all the way to Prospect, probably 15 miles or so. There is a pretty good ice cream place in Prospect. It's a good way to go if you have limited time. The names of the roads change a few times, but there is no real worry of getting lost as long as the river is on your left. (heading to prospect anyways) If you head Right, down Klondike road, it will eventually turn into Riverside Drive, if you need to head to Columbus, Powell, or Dublin and aren't in a hurry. It's a much better experience then just heading down the freeway to get there. Either way...be careful, while neither is the most demanding of roads, it is right by the river, there are a lot of trees, and limbs on the road are semi-common. I have seen many riders stop and kick them off to the side of the road as it is a common path for bikers around this area. Sping and fall can be pretty scenic around there too. Have fun and Welcome!
  12. Hey everyone, I'm new to the site (obviously) and just wanted to say Hello. Found the site while looking for a shop as a front fork started leaking, got distracted, and think I might like it here. I'm a 31 male, lives in Marysville, primarily rides NW Columbus, Delaware, Marion, sometimes up to Galion. I have an all black 98 ZX11. Been riding for 11 years now. I just like to ride, not into racing, or stunts, just ride to enjoy it. I have my moments of triple digit speeds, but the vast majority of the time I'm at "normal" speeds. I love riding with other riders as long as they are in control of themselves and the bike. Doesn't matter what type of bike they are on, male or female. Guess that's all for now, have a Great day everyone! Danballa
