  1. I bet you do super awesome wheelies down the highway, with the wind in your hair and your bare chest glistening in the sun.
  2. You should get it re-dynoed after Jags, Todd, and me rip that shit apart. I'm highly considering putting the Two Bros/K&N canned map in the PC3 and putting in back on the dyno to see what happens. Wouldn't mind some company.
  3. This seems contradictory, if they no call/no show, how are you going to get them to present themselves for payment? If you're advocating a "grace" rule where the first one's free, then the rest will cost you that wouldn't alleviate the situation Brian described in the OP.
  4. Agreed, inside is pretty awesome, staff are pretty laid back. Worried about the parking situation and the police.
  5. Is this the pre-bike night ride tomorrow? If so, I won't be able to, work.

  6. Tom, next time tell me you're going to take an action shot so I can suck in my gut.
  7. SnOmAn. 954rr if memory serves, he was the reason we had popsicles the last time. I could have sworn there were more Katana's on that list, for some reason I had 4 down in my head. I'll count myself even though I punched out early, there was BlueKat on the ride I went on, and I could have sworn there were others.
  8. My guess is they had some sort of roadblock set up. You can see the cars in the top 2 lanes start to slow down and veer to the right as well.
  9. it has been foretold of a Katana rider with enough cunning to survive a ride through Coshocton. The prophecy says the Knight who serves with the KoCs will prevail. So the legend goes...

    Net Books

I highly advise staying away from the Acer netbooks. I have a 751h that locks up randomly, even with a 50 page thread on the Acer forums they have no idea how to fix the problem. That being said, the concept behind a netbook is very sound. I ended up reformatting mine and loading Windows 7 using an internal DVD with an IDE - USB converter. Worked like a champ. Battery lasts for-friggin-ever, so I don't have to be concerned about trans-continental flights.
  11. Yotes and I were there last week. Decent stage, but depending on the amount of bikes that show up (Wednesday's aren't going to get much love, perhaps Thursdays) parking is a potential issue. Also a word of warning, this is very much in Worthington city limits. Worthington cops will camp out near the bar or other high bike traffic road and will pull people over without immediate cause (speeding, lights out, something that can be seen from the car) for license/temp violations. Had it happen to me on 161 a few years ago, roommate and I had gear on and going the speed limit at night, cop pulled out behind us and ran my plate, pulled me over for license violation.
  12. So is your intention to fix the mustang? I'm kinda surprised insurance isn't totaling it out, usually when both airbags deploy it's a good sign they're going to write it off.
  13. 99.1HP, 42.65 lb/ft of torque. Brian said it was running lean, I think I'm going to toss in the map from DynoJet for a 600RR with K&N filter and Two Bros slipon and see if that does anything. If not, I'll spring for the tune. I really need to find a second job to finance all this crap.
  14. Just got back, the wind buffeting on 270 was terrible. Hope the Dayton peeps got back OK. Thanks a ton to all involved.
  15. it's a "what" too, a Hoblick is a tool used for licking hobbits.
  16. Quick, put him back in! Congrats, that's one cute kid.
  17. Just talked to Jimmy today, he's a stand-up guy. Ordering my fork springs once Jimmy and I figure out what spring rate I need. I have no problem at all doing business with these guys. Hey Todd, your Leo is sitting on the office floor. Jimmy told me if you don't show up tomorrow with the money, then I get to collect.

    Skydiving Meet

That's why I wanted to make this in June, should give everyone some time to come up with monies.
  19. That's probably the dumbest thing I've heard all week. Yes, it is really hard. No the airbag isn't like a fucking parachute, once it deploys, it's done. Face facts kid, you done fucked up. I assume you were cited for this, or that the insurance knows it's your fault. Get ready for the ass-reaming to come on insurance rates, 100x more so if you run out and drop 15K on what I can only assume would be another "baller" sports car that between the car payment (or lack thereof, depending on what cash you come to play with) and the in-fucking-sane insurance premiums, the only mod you're going to be able to afford on it is treating yourself to 93 gas. If you're truly looking for advice, I'd find a reasonable, cheap to insure car and use that as your daily beater. If you feel the need to throw money at something, mod the bike. Parts for bikes are (usually) cheaper than cars, it's amazing what 3K in parts will net you in bike mods. I bet you probably spent that much if not more on your supercharger. Or, you can put a little away in the bank, and in a few years when you hit 25 and your insurance backs off, if you haven't wrapped the GSXR around a tree and are still alive, you'll be in a much, much better position to get something you like. Sorry for the tough love kid, but that's how it is.
  20. Perhaps a "up to certain amount, pay in advance, more expensive partial deposit?" I wouldn't be opposed to fronting 50 bucks for a tune, but if you're going to ask me to front $500 we may have an issue.

    rLiNK...

Depends on which part of the functionality you're looking for. If you just want the GPS aggregation data, I think Google Latitude can do that already and for free. If you want the alarm/monitoring/everything else, this doesn't seem to be too bad. I have absolutely no basis for comparison on price, and it kinda sucks that it's tied into the iPhone only, but them's the breaks.
  22. Better safe then sorry. Those HID pull a TON of amps in comparison to the halogens when they first get started. If you're wrong, you could melt the wire/wiring harness and caused yourself a lot more grief.
