That's the motivating factor. I still want to do my EFI swap project on the Kat, but I realize once I'm done with that I'll still have a 450+ pound fatass that now has awesome fueling. The Kat was always designed to learn on and be done with, but I know that I will never, ever get out what I put into it so I'm just going to keep it.

Like, needs a complete left fairing because the plastics are cracked and busted up, or because there's a ton of rash but plastics are intact? I got pretty good with Ice flexible body filler putting the Kat back together from my low-speed slide, so a ton of plastic-only rash doesn't really faze me.

First off, you always need a hookers a blow option in any poll. It's the law. Second, grow it out and dye it black. Raven-haired girls are sexy, either that or I'm just weird.

I've 3/4 convinced myself to get another bike. Budget would be the upper end of $4500, and I'm not trading the Katana. I'm after a sportbike, preferably 600-800cc. I prefer something that's lighter than my Katana, but if there's a 02+ VFR available I'm in. Definitely a sportbike, not really a cruiser kid. I'm not above some fairing rashes, but it had better be priced accordingly, no broken or cracked pieces, and no metal/frame damage. FI is a gotta-have, I'm really not messing with carbs again.

I'm simply parroting the exact things we hear from law enforcement/judges when we speed. You're right though, the fact that I don't like what he did doesn't matter. For the record though, he hasn't gotten anything yet since he plead not guilty.

Do you think it's acceptable for a sworn officer of the law to willfully and egregiously break his oath to defend and uphold the laws of Ohio? And in doing so on a public road, risk the lives and property of those around him? I sure as hell don't.

Indeed. He's still innocent until proven guilty, but one would think they could have come up with something a little more low-profile than this.

Gotta love Columbus journalism, filled 1/4 of that segment with some drag racer saying he likes to go fast. It looks like he's going to get his. He was boxed into the not guilty plea by the judge who would have otherwise suspended his license had he plead guilty. I can only imagine since he's contesting it by pleading not guilty, but has curiously already confessed in open court, the judge is bound to give him his just deserves.
