  1. Did you even read the article to take my post in context?

You said "He should get his ass handed to him just for his comments." I don't need to read anything for context. Those words are concrete. You disagree with his opinion, and feel he should be silenced. I disagree with plenty of BS plenty of people say, but the first ammendment of the Bill of Rights says we have the right to voice our opinons, whether they be popular or not. I greatly disagree with your comment for instance... but I believe in your right to say it.

And for the record, People shouldn't have to ask the United States President twice to see his birth certificate if there is ANY question about it. As president you should be an open book, and didn't Obama campain on an "Open government" policy way back even before he had his birth certificate sealed by the courts? I never really understood why he would give the opposition such ammo as to publically hide it like that... but whatever.

  2. i agree with the law, wtf is it stoopid..its the law cause there are many stoopid drivers that dont have common sense to turn their headlamps on when its fukin downpouring, and cant see shit..

And if they can't see shit in a downpour and are cruising around without necessary equipment, do you really think chaning a law is going to knock some sense into their dumb ass melon?

  3. It may be common, and it may seem like common sense... but it's a stupid thing to make a law about. Give me a break. When it's dark, people usually turn on their headlights. If they don't, there is currently a law on the books allowing them to ticket you for it. If it's rainng, people usually turn on their windshield wipers... but are you really telling me that you feel there needs to be a law requiring the use of headlights any time your wipers are on? What if, you get splashed by another driver going through a puddle on a bright sunny day? What if a driver in front of you uses their windshield wipers and the overspray hits your windshield? Etc etc. They are passing laws that are common sense, so in the off chance you don't feel that it's necessary, they can ticket your ass to make money. Seatbelts are now going to be a primary offense also. Watch out for all those drunks without seatbelts driving without their headlights on in the rain. Why not just go ahead and pass a law requiring people to wear helmets to walk? God knows you could fall and bump your head!

  4. 1) Your bike must be road worthy.

    2) You must have all reciepts for all parts you put on the bike. E-bay reciepts will not work (because most of the used parts on E-bay are stolen of course...e-bay is the best chop shop on the net), you need a real reciept from a business. If you have parts on your bike, that you do not have documentation for, they can (and I promise you they WILL) confiscate them.

Honestly, a salvage inspection has 1% to do with safety and 99% to do with finding stolen parts. If you have your paperwork in order, it's a brease but if you don't, it can play hell on you. I have had many many cars and bikes inspected and never had a problem... but I also know a lot of dumbshits that tried to slide something through that got burned. I know a guy who was building a salvaged Harley. He had documentation for everything except the chrome clutch cover he bought at a swap meet. Well, they confiscated the cover, and since it holds oil in... the bike had to stay there till he could get another with legit paperwork.

    Good luck man.

  5. The Oaks schools offer them, but they are nearly impossible to get into because they are associated with the Motorcycle Ohio program and, if you complete the beginner course it counts for your practal test for licensing. I have heard stories of registration opening at midnight and the class being full one minute later. They do allow walk ins, but only if someone doesn't show up. Personally, I didn't have the time to screw around with it so I just took the test at the old DMV. If your in ANY kinda hurry, I would look around for some private lessons. The advanced rider course may be easier to get into though. I also think I heard something about riding classes at Aces and Eights Harley, but I could be wrong.
