  1. Not giving up the 996...it'll just eat into my track funds for the 996. I get too attached to cars to sell them, just trying to add another if I can find the right one. Andy
  2. Depends on when / if I'm able to find an E55. At this point I'm about to start buying more track parts for the 996 and forgetting I ever wanted an E55 I"m soo fed up with looking for a nice one. The opening Funday in April looks promissing though / Or Mid Ohio in April with NASA. May @ Mid Ohio with PCA ???
  3. Lame. F' the oil coming out of the turbos, that car is way more fun.
  4. Initial Fundays are now on the schedule. Sounds like more will be added as they fit throughout the season. http://www.nelsonledges.com/GOTSchedules.aspx Andy
  5. You all know Alan Prost was the business compared to all of them. Cool, calculated and always in control behind the wheel.
  6. Welcome. I'd give you an instant rep for that intro had you just not put in there that NASCAR is not racing :-) ...OK I'll give you a rep anyhow since you've taken the Skippy school. Andy
  7. Post #4...cop that wrote the ticket (giving the kid a break) called the guy out for bragging about street racing and then getting a ticket for going too slow. it's all BS after that.
  8. I found this amusing. Read post #4 http://www.orlandoforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=126522
  9. Tommy Byrn (sp?) and the boys up there at the Mid Ohio school are a hoot. Highly recommended and easy to get to.
  10. I'll send you a PM about it. We've gone way off topic here in Erik's thread.
  11. Yup. Looks like I'm still looking now. Thought my search was over.
  12. Well Chris and I arrived in TX to pick up my Grandpa car and the mother fucker looked like it was cared for and driven by a blind man and despite having a clean carfax and being independantly checked out nobody seemed to pick up on the fact that the car was hit and painted all down the drivers side!!!!!!!!!!!! Wasn't even good paint work I can see sanding marks in the bondo UNDER the paint all down the side. If Chris can see this stuff without me pointing it out, Stevie Wonder could see it. not that I'm pissed about A) the car and B) being stuck in TX right now or anything! So no grandpa car in my posession to even talk crap about I suppose.
  13. Ninja's know when they're being talked about even when they're in the Denver Airport. Eric...no black paint except maybe the wheels. I've seen the paint and it's save-able...matter of fact I think it could look pretty damn good if I do say so myself. You're gonna need that spray to outrun my grandpa car though! Chris' FD will be the first one to loose to it. Andy
  14. I say No. OR. Keep the 7, offer him stupid low money for the Supra, own both and figure out which one you like better than ditch the other.

Welcome. So your car looks kinda like mine does in winter mode then? I've got you beat in mileage by over 30K though. http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/1_9_05_01-1.jpg Andy
  16. Love it...great addition Anthony.
  17. What on earth has happened to this thread??? I can't say I dislike the new direction though.
  18. Italian cars are usually sexy and useless. that one is just useless
  19. Buy used but still under warranty. Your money will go soo much further.
  20. Still think we won't need a radar detector for our trip this weekend after seeing two AMG cars on that list?
  21. As long as we're talking on the street here I'm in the club. Wrecked my bike at Mid Ohio though so maybe not. Depends on how you look at it I guess. It's both luck and awareness (not necessarily skill). Drove stick at 13. Currently 30. Andy
  22. I have the same problem with the Porsche right now. It's the safety valve in the filler neck. On some of the newer German cars it's actually controled by a sensor and it's pretty common for a fuse to go bad. However if your car is like mine something has jarred loose and is causing the valve not to operate. In my instance Porsche actually released a TSB on this it was soo common so I've got the instructions to fix it, just havn't had the time yet. I'd check Audiworld to see if you can find specific instructions over there. If you're lucky it'll be as easy as replacing a fuse. Andy
  23. The answer is depends: IF the car is heavily soiled from driving around in crap weather like we've had for the last 3 weeks and then you decide to wash your car then yes, you should hose off the car first prior to washing with this method. I simply take mine to the quarter wash and do high pressure water only over the whole car and then drive it home to wash with the Hoseless solution. When it's not as extreme as the weather and roads have been lately there's no need. I generally use a spray bottle to pre-soak the areas prior to washing them as well as it adds a small security blanket to the process. Andy
  24. That picture is stunning compared to the pre-production photos that I've seen. It's gonna be an ugly beast.
  25. Wait till you see their sedan they release this year (Panamera). You'll wish they stuck to what's worked for years for them. It's pretty bad and I'm a huge fan of the brand.
