  1. mossberg 500 is in the same class as the 870....why the both entry level, both cost the same, both are hit-and-miss for new ones and dead reliable for older models.....seems pretty even to me
  2. basically a f150 with the 6.2 and some chrome not really my thing....i bet it costs as much as a raptor and the raptor has the same motor plus its 4x4 ....the harley is neat for what it is, just not my thing i had an 02 and while it was a nice truck i just wasnt really feeling it....i like my trucks to be off-road capable, it was pretty much a bloated sport sedan lol she was quite sexy though
  3. ^ lies. thats why you escaped to america you taco-fondling sonuvabeetch
  4. i guess i take back my original comment - your post got me to go back and re-read part of the article i was reading torture and expected actual torture, not making them skip a meal...guess i overlooked this part of the article first pass
  5. your beretta lbts...want me to take it off your hands for you?
  6. since when is it ok for the American government to capture and torture its own citizens? if they had been charged with something or even declared security risks, i could MAYBE understand where youre coming from but in the end, neither of those things happened.
  7. if they want to be asses like that - honestly, i would move the fence and the play set 18" and tell my neighbors to go pound sand
  8. sounds like most people in this thread who scrap come across the spare metals during their jobs crackheads dont have jobs, so they have to steal shit for example: we did a concrete floor inside a house, and while tearing out the old floor we found about 50lbs of lead that was used inside the floor....the kitchen pad had a good amount of rebar in it also same week we did a job at a trucking company and they had a bunch of metal racks they were throwing out for some reason...we pulled them outta their dumpster and tossed them on the trailer, they were several hundred pounds....the guy also gave us the heavy steel plates they were using to park the trailers on to prevent further damage to the asphalt...we tore out the asphalt and put concrete down and they didnt need the plates anymore its easy to come across metal when you work construction, or come across batteries when your company deals with them on the regular like swingr mentioned some people are good at knowing where scrap can be found and make a living out of driving around scrapping (knowing which factories have extra metal they toss and when they set it out etc).....also a lot of scrappers go around to auctions and bid on metal that most people think is trash, they will scrap it..... i know a guy who bought a broken down dump truck at an auction for $300....he loaded it up and scrapped it the same day for $1500 the people who steal stuff are just people trying to make a quick buck without putting any effort into it and are usually trying to feed a habit, rather than pay for bills.
  9. very nice novas! wish i woulda sprang for the camo on my 28", but i definitely like that HD model...damn you, another gun on my list
  10. good to know. we usually get about $8/battery but it goes by the pound where we go. gotten as much as 20 bucks out of some marine batteries
  11. ^ yea...but they dont check them or anything when i tow something without plates i just put plates off of another vehicle i own onto it and they never look twice when i needed my bike towed it didnt have plates and i borrowed them from a friend lol....before i realized they wouldnt cover the tow that is (didnt have RV coverage)
  12. thanks for the article jason, ill give it a read
  13. not anymore....the prices are climbing by the day i saw one at buckeye and i wanna say it was over $700....theyre like 500-600 online....havent priced them much, but i know theyre climbing through the roof
  14. appreciate the tip - i plan to get into a little more variety next year and hunt stuff other than rabbit/deer....ill keep this in mind
  15. thanks - i guess i wont worry about it then thread can be locked i suppose - apparently it was a much more stupid question than i realized
  16. last year was my first year out, not everybody was born knowing everything there is to know about hunting right out of the womb.
  17. thats kind of what i figured, i figured the orange would throw off any benefit of the camo but i thought ide ask more experienced people and why is that? because i asked if it makes a difference whether or not a deer notices camo or black? pretty sure theres much worse things that can be done with a firearm, im just here trying to learn from people more experiences than i am, so please, eat shit and die
  18. i use all 4 of my tows every year if i get close to my end date i even tow other peoples stuff just to help them out and get my moneys worth my girls family has bad luck with cars - so i usually tow them 2-3 times a year, havent had to tow my own stuff since i got rid of the mustang
  19. for deer hunting - is camo really that important? i have a nice 1 piece carhartt i was going to wear this year but its all black and im not sure if that would stick out to a deer too much, or if i should pick up some camo bibs and wear my camo jacket over it....last year was camo jacket and some brown jeans and i froze my ass off, so i need to do something different also - does it matter much that my shotgun is black and not camo? would i be better off using this stuff during hunting season? it clings to itself, but no residue is left behind. my gun is a pump so im not sure how much of it i could even wrap http://www.cabelas.com/sleeves-camo-camo-form-gun-wrap-1.shtml
  20. yea its crazy http://www.google.com/search?q=benelli%20nova%20slug%20barrel&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbo=u&tbm=shop&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wf some of their guns cost upwards of $2000, the nova is their low end when i go to buy a dedicated HD gun - i might look into a mossberg for cost reasons....but for hunting and clays, i wouldnt give up my nova.... ill never buy remjunk again though
  21. i meant car, boat, motorcycle, etc batteries.....they pay very well
  22. good choice not buying an 870...what a pile of shit mine was go with the benelli - you wont regret it the only downside to the benelli is in your case you want a HD gun and a field gun, if you get the benelli with the field barrel it will be a good clay gun but to buy a shorter barrel for HD is expensive...i wanna say the cost of a second barrel is right around $500 which is more than a second nova costs anyways i went from an 870 to a nova and couldnt be happier with the decision....best money ever spent paying the difference between the two (my 870 was such a piece of shit after being repaired by remington *who took almost 3 months* it worked worse....returned it and paid the difference between the 870 and a nova) my 28" barrel nova is sitting next to my bed - sure its not the greatest HD gun because of the barrel length, but im confident it would get the job done in a pinch a second shotgun will come along eventually for a dedicated HD gun - it just wont be a remington
