i agree with you. the only difference is, with apes, nobody can even argue that they have any function. with drag mods, a poser can still claim to race the bike, even if they dont. with apes, theres no excuse at all. except liking it in the butt. OP - do you like it in the butt?

for people talking about a field barrel being too long for HD - i have to disagree....while it is definitely not "ideal" there is nothing wrong with it i had a situation the other day where i thought there would actually be a need for my shotgun - i was out of bed and made it all the way to my garage with my shotgun in hand and never once cared or noticed about the barrel length...it didnt even cross my mind, between being half asleep still and the adrenaline of thinking something was happening, the thought of barrel length never occured to me, and i didnt bang my gun into anything either....luckily it was a false-alarm that said - i still would like to pick up a short barrel for my nova or an HD model nova....but for the time being im ok with having it how it is if he wants to shoot clays - then get the long barrel first because it can double for HD duty better than an HD model can double for clays really though, even though my nova was sitting there...i think if my handgun would have been on the nightstand i would go for it first for maneuverability ....not the better choice, but it is what it is lol

try going to an OR meet .....i see a lot of ATGATT here on the forum, then when you show up to a meet you see the opposite...most everybody has helmets on, but if its hot you see a lot of shorts and not as many jackets....unless its a meet with a ride planned afterwards...but like dyno days or meet and greets etc, theres a lot of semi-geared people not that im ragging on people, because on real hot days i used to wear shorts sometimes also, just saying i get tired of hearing ATGATT too when a lot of people dont even follow it i know a lot of people who wear full leathers and everything on long rides, but dont gear up for a ride down the street etc....personal choice IMO...if im just cruising around the block to get it warmed up for an oil change and not leaving my neighborhood, i never wore gear - usually just some sunglasses, sometimes not even those....but on any real ride, i always wore gear, but would never say i was ATGATT

they always add gay shit on the side of them....pinstripes, decals, whatever.....notice on mine it has the pinstripe removed... pinstripes and decals and shit look so tacky, at least the ones on the harley trucks always do

i like lights/lasers for HD...not for EDC though...tried that, too bulky for my taste if i had a dedicated HD pistol, i would pick up a light/laser (probably another C5L)

got a pinky extension for a glock 26 and modified it to fit my p2000sk magazine.....what a huge improvement! i can now get a full grip instead of cramming my pinky onto the end real tight.....was fairly easy to fit, had to trim around the corners to make it slide into the frame, and drill a new hole in the bottom for the magazine locking plate....turned out good i think, but i accidentally over-trimmed one small corner....overall im very happy with it and might pick up a second one for my other mag also onto pics... before after no slide on the gun right now - its out being refinished, but you can get the idea lol

they have that....my truck is the work edition....vinyl floors so i can clean them with soap and water, sealed-beam headlights that are cheap/easy to replace if they get damaged, no power accessories besides cruise control (this body style had problems with window motors getting wet and burning up), tow hooks, camper package, towing mirrors (not anymore - PO broke them and replaced with nemo mirrors)

if you need one i have some motorola flip phone...not a smart phone so no data plan needed...let me know, its yours if you want it...maybe something like a razer, idk lol..its thin

kind of ironic a few hours before the wreck you and MT were talking about your frame sliders....guess it didnt matter since the bike did a few endos instead of barrel rolling like a bauce. lol jk man, glad things are good and the bike is repairable
