Mine was definitely a ballast issue... The truck had auto headlights and one side fired every time, but the other side didn't... I'd have to sweep a wall or vehicle with headlights every time I pulled out to be sure both lights were on.. Pita

Forgot to mention, the only hid kit I ever had a problem with of the 10 or so I've bought, was a ddm lol... Sometimes it wouldn't fire and I had to turn lights on and off a few times to get it to light on one side.... Not saying I think ddm sucks, just saying I think all the kits are the same thing and it's luck of the draw

They're hit and miss... I've paid $100 for name brand, and $20 for eBay Chinese shit.... Only ever had an issue with one ballast, out of probably 10 kits... Just buy a cheap set on eBay and hope for best If you really wanna be a fancy ass, I had these in vfr putcomotorsports.com/products.cfm?action=ProductView&CategoryID=e0756967-65be-f4bb-a058-b19b01e0e592&Id=eb08e28b-65be-f4bb-a9cc-4bd428993359 Iron Pony sells Putco Powersports... They were great, no complaints... But the kit is 60-100, I don't remember exactly, and my current kit in new bike was $20 and it works just as well

Notice "assembled"... Think his concern is quality control during assembly, not part quality. Doesn't matter if every part is made in USA of solid titanium, if it's assembled poorly it would still be unsafe and unreliable. Not passing judgement on this bike, of which I have no opinion yet it's too new, just clarifying the lack of comprehension... No offense meant and shit

Oh sorry, didn't realize old ass harleys had enough oil capacity to hold 55 gallons of oil after being drained It's going to have fucking residue and that's it... Every drop of leftover fluid in that bike combined probably will equal a quart or less... That's fucking magdor logic "let's bury a quart of fluid in a sealed container"... "omg epa headache! Coldest I rode was 5* and snowing... Had very little traction on my pr2's on the vfr... Had to go pretty slow and didn't enjoy it... With some knobby tires, it would have been fine... Just gotta bundle up.. I actually have a 1 piece Arctic edition carhartt suit that kept me warm no problem
