good point

It's for 1/4...practice makes perfect and I can't live at national trails.
-
LOL I like it.
-
I know some of the places here in Columbus the stunters practice, where do you guys practice launches?
-
My PC loader came in today. Bike is back up and running.
-
Are you kidding me LOL.. I was going to call you, I need a tune.
-
It's the loader for the firmware after you brick your PCIII. It's also used to load the ignition module firmware. Looks like a little black box.
-
I bricked by PCIII the other day and ordered a loader from Dynojet. I would like to stop by dynoday but not sure if DJ will have the unit to me in time. Does anyone have one I can borrow? I'm in Columbus.
-
Nope...tried a different Advanced no dice. Next stop JEGS.
-
Maybe ill try a different advanced.

Just an update. I have decided to order a set of Ti carpenter springs and retainers, so my project is on hold at the moment. Check out my 2 intake retainers. I dont want this to happen again.
-
-1 is about equal to +3. For strength its better to go + in the rear....too much - in the front makes too much pinch on the chain. That said -1+2 is very common. The down side of + in the rear is you will need a new chain. I know my R1 was able to get away with a +2 but then again it shortens your WB.
-
That is the exact tool I need.
-
I went to Harbor Freight, Orilleys, auto zone and advanced auto. none of them have a tool that will work. I found one on ebay for $50. Since the retainers are resessed I can't use the the regular type for clamping the springs "like a car". I have to use the one that looks like a "C" clamp. And yea about the putting back together and driving to the dealer...I think not...I will not return to that dealer ever again.
-
Ok guys I have the head off my bike and found out I have 2 shattered retainers. I put some carpenter Ti retainers and springs on order, but now I can't find a spring compressor tool to remove the retainers and springs. I called the dealer and they said I had to put the entire bike back together and ride it to them so they can take it apart again...how stupid. So my question is does anyone have a spring compressor I can beg, borrow, steal or rent LOL.

Im the one with a bunch of these race cams sitting in my tool box. I have 2 or 3 left ill have to check
Glad you said something, I didn't want to throw out your name and have a ton of people PMing you.

service manual
Yes I have a service manual, but I have never had to degree a cam....yes I have instructions how how to degree cams. I've done my own valve job and could probably replace the head gasket if I tried, but now we are into things I have never done. If you get the timing off a notch or get the valve to piston clearance wrong, say bye bye to your motor.
-
I need to see if he wants to get rid of his. I'll have to let you know.
-
Another race cam or headgasket
Race cam
-
No orbiting yet......would have to be stretched with nitrous for that.
-
LOL....Garth from the ZX-10 forum has tested both. He has even tested the race intake cam in the intake slot and the the stock intake cam in the exhaust. Not much to be gained there. Unfortunately all the people that I know of that specialize in ZX-10 builds are in PA, FL and MI.
-
Sorry just like the kawai race cam the .45 gasket has been discontinued so your left with the expensive but quality cometic or a cheap flea gasket. I might know where to find another though.
Where do you guys practice launches?
