  2. A wideband is an O2 sensor, except unlike standard O2 sensors it has a very wide sensitivity range so it can pick up on changes in exhaust gas at a much finer level. Widebands are used for tuning regularly and then removed as constant use will cause them to fall out of calibration. Edit: Damnit shitty, I can only type so fast on a phone. Lol
  3. +1. Don't widebands tend to fall out of spec pretty quickly when run continously in the exhaust? That would make the whole point moot in just under a month.
  4. I'm thinking about a ride this weekend on Saturday before the festivities of the weekend start. Thinking about two places, either 10/22 and the like down in Kentucky. Or, if any Coshoctonites are around, maybe heading back up to Coshocton. I don't want to even venture near Coshocton unless another local is there. This is just a day ride, starting at 8 am or something like that. Probably cover 530 miles going to Coshocton or around 400 miles heading to Kentucky from the Dayton area. Anyone else interested?
  5. I'm still leery of these auto-learning systems. Companies have been trying them in cars for years, sometimes they work flawlessly and sometimes they will record glitches and make life with the tuning hell until you reset the learning curve and make it relearn. I'd have to do more research really to back anything I say regarding the Bazzaz though.
  6. +rep for you IP! Also, lol @ #14!!
  7. Wrong, you can clearly see it isn't set up for the next corner. It's surely going straight off the road as most Busas do.
  8. OMGWTFBBQAIRFORCEONE! An Aprilia guy showed up at Indy on an RS125 that was plated and was revving it up. Lol it's so cool!
  9. Hahhahaahhahaha! "with Thaddeus Gibson as......destroy everything moving."
  10. That's probably when everyone was thanking Bob. The guy that single handedly set up our parking, tickets, shirts, freebies, and a party for the group.
  11. Dammit! You kinda shouldn't have told me that.
  12. Yeah, my buddy's RC51 fouled plugs on Saturday morning so he had to take the ride of shame in a cage to the track. We went back after the Aprilia party at the fairgrounds on Saturday night and fixed his bike in the hotel lot so he could ride it down to Meridian. We got there around 10:30, walked around till 12:30 and then grabbed some dinner at Steak & Shake and headed home. I didn't have any contact info for anyone that was at Indy so we just stayed in our group of 3. BTW, Meridian at midnight was off the hook!
  13. You must be blind. I was the fat, white kid in the Corvette Racing shirt.
  14. Aprilia imported 500 RS125s as "offroad use only" race bikes. They did this because the bikes couldn't pass emissions laws since they are 2-strokes. So the bikes come over with no lighting harness or plate holders. You can buy the harness, lights, and plate holder and make it a street legal bike in that sense, but it still doesn't pass emissions. So, if you had a state that doesn't do emissions checks and only looks at paperwork then you could possibly get an RS125 plated to ride on the street which would be fucking sweet! That's the point. Basically what I'm getting at is, I heart the RS125. It will primarily be a race bike, but it'd be nice to pimp it on the street every now and then.
  15. Holy shit! You were like directly in front of me!!! We were near the top, right in line with where Pedrosa low sided. Sitting with the group of rowdy Aprilia riders.
  16. I'd drive ya there but I'm a few hours away. Maybe someone else can help out. Sorry.
  17. Haha, it was quite funny. Near the end of the race we watched him exit the last turn onto the straight at about the same exit speed as the guy in front of him, then he just walked past the guy like he was standing still midway down the track. Pedrosa's bike was strong, which does explain why he got the pole. After he crashed you could even hear that he was pushing the bike but wasn't getting anywhere. After Rossi crashed it's like he just got into the groove and took the hell off. I think seeing Rossi crashed got rid of that mental block for him. Hmm. Either way, he put on a show.
  18. +1, my little bro was in a rollover accident and walked away fine but was complaining of chest pains later. I took him to the ER and they checked him out. He was fine after a long night of waiting but you can never be too cautious. See if you can get a friend to drive you to the ER and inform them of what's up and that you would like checked out. It'll be covered under her insurance anyway right?
  19. Pics of Pedrosa's wreck? Speaking of which, whether you like him or not, that man rode the fuck out of that bike to get back to 10th place. The amount of ground he would gain on the next rider each lap was downright amazing. I've never seen someone regain that much ground after crashing early in the race. Kudos to Dani Pedrosa for being one badass motherfucker!
  20. Summabitch, I'm camping in Michigan that weekend. If I don't go, one of my roommates will cut my nuts off. Trust me, she's crazy like that.
  21. Let's do it! Gimme some prices, how long we'll be gone, etc. I'm looking to give my body some punishment riding the Ape.
  22. I can get a fully lighted, street ready Aprilia RS125 2-stroke with a stamp on the frame that says, "for offroad use" legally. Can I get it plated in Ohio then?
  23. I can already tell you that as soon as you ride one it's all you'll think about and lust over until you get one. I lasted one week after my first test ride and then the RSV was in my driveway the next weekend. Lol! She's currently sitting in the rain, filthy, in the hotel parking lot. : (
