This. I know my location is Kettering, but I've lived in Michigan off and on for the past 5 years. The roads may suck, but at least the drivers don't. Worst thing that can happen on a Michigan highway (short of the apocalypse), is an Ohio driver.

From Sault St. Marie to Key West, the only state I cringe driving through is Ohio...

I don't remember if its 9.5 or 10:1. Nothing stupid compression wise, just throw more boost at it.

Well, you could do that with the stock driveline ratios easily. The longer gears in the newer setup just means you can get it out of that double overdrive gear. 4th stops at 167 MPH I think. At 7000 RPM, it makes the earth shake. Lol

27 actually. Down from 29 on the old motor. Stretched gears in the T56 combined with a 3.08 rear gear = 1500 RPM @ 70 MPH.

Well, long time coming. My good friend Mike has had his GTO just a little longer than I have, been good friends for years. Just over a year ago we talked about taking his car to the next level.
