  1. well, I was thinking you should do your "limits" row the other way. It won't be helpful to know the lower limit of your min column, right? Its more helpful to know the upper limit of your min column. so if you do MAX(B2:B6) and MIN(C2:C6), that will give you an operable range. Then, you can make one column, just to the right of that =IF(B7<C7, "operable range", "no operable range")

ah ha! I see what you mean now. I'll try that

  2. Here, this is from the AG Concealed Carry Handbook 2011 http://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/concealedcarrybook

    Forbidden Carry Zones

The law sets forth several places where your license does not allow you to

carry a handgun. Under the law, you may not carry a concealed handgun

    into the following places:

    • Police stations

    • Sheriffs’ offices

    • Highway Patrol posts

    • Premises controlled by BCI

    • Correctional institutions or other detention facilities

    • Airport terminals or airplanes

    • Facilities for the care of mentally ill persons

    • Courthouses or buildings in which a courtroom is located

    • Universities, unless locked in a motor vehicle or in the process of being locked in a motor vehicle

    • Places of worship, unless the place of worship permits otherwise

    • Child day-care centers

    • Licensed Class D liquor permit premises if you are consuming beer orintoxicating liquor or are under the influence. If you are not consuming, you may carry unless there is a conspicuoussign prohibiting carry.Possession of a concealed Firearm is allowed in a retail store with a D-6 or D-8 permit as long as the concealed carry licenseholder is not consuming liquor. Class D permits are generally issuedto an establishment that sells alcohol for consumption on the premises. In any event, do not consume beer or intoxicating liquor before carrying a concealed handgun into a licensed premises.

    • Government facilities that are not used primarily as a shelter, restroom, parking facility for motor vehicles, or rest facility and arenot a courthouse or a building or structure in which a courtroom islocated

    • School safety zones A “school safety zone” includes a school, school building, schoolpremises, school activity, and school bus. For purposes of this statute, aschool includes everything up to the property boundary. If you are licensed to carry a concealed handgun, you may carry a handguninto a school safety zone only if you do not enter a school building, schoolpremises, or school activity. You also must not be in one of the places listed in ORC 2923.126(B). You may be in a motor vehicle and immediately in the process of picking up or dropping off a child. You also must comply with all other laws governing the transportation of firearms in a motor vehicle

  3. Are schools different though? Is a college campus different than a school?
Concealed carry of a handgun by a licensee is prohibited in the following public areas:

Public schools.Unless in the pick-up/drop-off zone and you don't get out of the car

Police, sheriff or state highway patrol stations.

Correctional facilities, jails or any premises controlled by Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation.

Airport passenger terminals or any airplanes.

Any rooms or open-air arenas licensed to serve alcohol for on premises consumption.

Premises owned or leased by a public or private college, university or other institution of higher learning.Unless locked or in the process of being locked in a motor vehicle. You can't carry in the buildings or walking around.

Any place of worship.Unless permitted by them

    A child day-care center.

    A family day-care home.

Any building owned or leased by a state government entity or a political subdivision of the state. Doesn't include rest stops. All those signs should be down by now

Any location prohibited by federal law.

The owner or person in control of private land or premises, and a private person or entity leasing land or premises owned by a public entity, may post a sign in a conspicuous location on that land or premises prohibiting persons from carrying firearms or concealed firearms on that property.

Let me pull up the ORC...

  4. The formula works as designed but I see a flaw. Notice the 30's. 30 is common among all the ranges. Say those were temperatures. You could set it at 30 and be okay among all the fish. See what I mean? My head hurts...I'm not used to doing stuff like this. lol

    list2.png

Now just go get some fish and see how they do.

I went and checked out a bunch today. But I need to get sand, live plants and rocks first.

me neither... they seem knowledgeable, but they are about 50/50 on whether they're right or not.

    That's probably about right, 50/50...

  5. So I am signed up for text alerts from CSU on campus news and security, well in the past week I have gotten 2 alerts, one for a mugging and one for a robbery of the coffee shop at gun point. This has me really questioning my safety on campus as I will be going there starting in the summer. What are your opinions on illegally carrying on campus? I know there are a few LEOs on here so chime in if you see this but what would be the punishishment for carrying on campus if you use a gun to defend yourself?

I just think it's bullshit to ban guns on campus when it is extremely easy for someone to bring one and kill people while the rest of us law abiding citizens are defenseless if we follow the law.

Just carrying where signs prohibit, You'd be charged with ORC2911.21(A)(4) pursuant to 2923.126©(3)(a) which is a misdemeanor of the 4th degree. Up to 30 days in jail, $250 max fine.

Carried in prohibited facility is an M1 under ORC2923.12(A)(2). An M1 is 6mo max jail time and $1000 max fine.

If you carry in somewhere prohibited and shoot or kill someone in self defense, I'd guess that'd be up to the prosecutor.

  6. I am telling you just get those red belly piranhas off Craig's list

lol, I don't want the other fish to get eaten.

:nono: You just might be over-doing it...

Maybe, maybe not. I do know I don't trust anyone at the fish store to know anything. They told me Tiger Barbs were peaceful community fish. Then they killed my Cories. So I like researching my own fish and knowing what I am getting into.

something like this: =IF(OR(C7>C2:C6,C7<B2:B6),C7,"stop") didn't try it yet...

    I'll try it...

    =Dont((Trust),Mj,"She's a woman":WhichIs(< Men)) GOTO Kitchen

Tried it. Kept changing the screen all white to match the rest of the appliances. :dunno:

    =IF(AND(C8<MIN(B2:B6), C8>MAX(C2:C6)),"Good","Bad")

    I'll try it.

  7. So you are manually putting these numbers in periodically?

Yeah. Basically it's to track fish breed requirements. Using this spreadsheet, I can be sure I stock fish accordingly. I noticed today that the average number provided for something, might be out of the range for a certain fish and I might not catch it. I'm in the process of starting a new tank, the one from crb, and this makes it easier to decide what to stock.

    FishList.png

  8. First off, here is the basic chart.

    Excel.png

I want a formula that will check to see if the average (blue) is less than any value in the "min" column or greater than any value in the "max" column. If either of these is true, I'd like the red box ( I only made it red to explain) to say something like "STOP" and change color. Hope that makes sense... Any idea how to do this?

  9. "And this is why, your honor, I submit to you that the plaintiff was so drunk that she was passed out. And the defendant knowingly continued with the tattoo despite the plaintiff being plainly and clearly so drunk that no reasonable person would consider her capable of giving consent. In his capacity as a tattoo artist, your honor, I put it to you that he knew he should not have proceeded with ANY tattoo under the circumstances. To further take advantage of the significantly inhebriated state that he encouraged in the plaintiff by changing the design from the agreed upon 'Narnia' tattoo was a further breach of trust for which we request punitive damaged in the amount of..."

"Redirect, your honor. The plaintiff did not want to be sober because of the pain. She chose to be inebriated so she would be able to deal with it better."

  10. Two problems I see are that:

    1) She may be able to convince a judge/jury (or just the defendant's lawyer) that she was too drunk to sign a legally binding document and the tattoo artists knew, or should have known that. As a tattoo artists he has a higher duty of care (your buddies might not get in trouble for letting you drunkenly walk on a 5th-floor balcony like a tightrope, but a police officer would be in a heap of sh*t for allowing that same conduct)

    2) She may be able to convince a judge/jury that no reasonable person would interpret "artist's discretion" as allowing a turd tattoo in place of a narnia tattoo. Therefore "Artist's Discretion" on the consent form should not protect him in a tort action.

It's not an assault becuase she consented to the touching. But it's an actionable tort. Much like if a doctor put you under to perform surgery on your foot and you wake up and it's been amputated. Not criminal, but definitely actionable dependingon the terms of the consent form. (Did the consent form state that amputation is a possible outcome?)

How is she going to prove she wanted a Narnia tattoo? People get some weird tattoos. He could say that's what she wanted and changed her mind. Maybe she wanted a mouse turd but instead got an elephant turn. :dunno:

  11. Reading these reviews was fun.

Our local sex shop has the 4 oz for 25.00. This is two times as much for less how can you go wrong? Works great for front side and back side play and works equally well on women and men. Its super slick and long lasting. Back door fun is much easier with this black bottle.
  12. I can never get any fish pics to turn out. I think I need a brighter light... or my fish need to stop moving.

It's hard to do! I just use the flash on the camera, the tank light and a lamp nearby I can aim at the tank, or a variation of the three. The Pleco sits still a lot so he's easy to get. The Angels are more difficult but if I time it right it's not bad. The larger sizes give a lot to focus on. When I had Tiger Barbs it was near impossible unless they were sleeping. They sleep nose down, sometimes almost vertical.

    Better lenses.

It's not very common for a Canon to fail.

Yeah, I can't argue with that. I got a great deal on mine though.
