I did black Friday one time, out in California. I will never, I say again, NEVER do it again. It is not worth my time to deal with the crowds of nut jobs. I will be in my bed asleep, nice and warm while you crazies try to get your deals and get stabbed when someone else thinks they deserve the item more than you do.

Stupid page.Agreed.
I agree with your agreement

good book. I read it in iraq. One of the real life newbs in that battle, was amazed at the ground bubbling like boiling water in front of him. Quickly realized it was incoming fire. Lots of it. Awesome movie.More or less the first real test of mobile infantry. Air Cavalry.
edit: If you want a good book to read that includes the battle,
The Vietnam combat vet that lived across the street from me said that Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan were the most realistic combat movies he had ever seen. I'm sure he'd add We Were Soldiers if he was still around. His quote was the one Band of Brothers episode where they were at the Battle of the Bulge. If you watch it, you'll see bits of twigs and trees and plants severe and fall as rounds go shooting past. That's extremely accurate.
I heard that band of brothers isn't that historically accurate whereas we were soldiers is very accurate. Many of the lines are just as they said them back then.

Thought this might be of interest to the history buffs.
On November 10, 2011, the National Archives in College Park, MD opened 26 files from its Records of the Watergate Special Prosecution Force (WSPF) collection including transcripts of President Nixon’s grand jury testimony of June 23-24, 1975, pursuant to the July 29, 2011, order by Chief Judge Royce C. Lamberth, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. In response to a petition filed in the case In Re Petition of Stanley Kutler, et al., Chief Judge Lamberth ordered that the transcript of Mr. Nixon’s testimony and the “Associated Materials” to that testimony be released to the public following the review of these documents for any information that must be redacted as required by law. There are a few redactions made for the privacy of living persons. In addition, there are several portions of the testimony that were deemed to be properly classified for national security. These portions, as well as parts of the accompanying materials, have been referred for declassification. When the National Archives receives a reply to these referrals, the transcript and accompanying materials will be updated. The link includes the scanned files.

You're just now watching that movie? I have had it on DVD for years. It's one of my favorite and can't believe my disc isn't worn out yet. My wife hates watching it though because I know all the lines. lol

I used to think the emails that had my CL title (ITEM - (LOCATION) - PRICE) in the subject and the URL at the bottom of the email were spam. I DL'ed a CL app to my phone and when I reply to an ad, it automatically adds all that so I usually change it myself so it looks like I typed it and not a computer.

Similar to the stylus pro that I have, and use every day for work. The stylus pro doesn't have high. low, and strobe, just on and off though.
only this one is a lil bigger and brighter.
Stylus:
48 lumens/ 6.25 hours runtime
Protac:
HIGH - 120 lumens/1.75 Hour
LOW - 14 lumens/21 Hours
STROBE - 4 Hours
I use my mini stylus, the single AAA one, all the time. I love the small size and being able to palm it to regulate light. I love Streamlights, I don't know that I'll ever switch to another brand...

Yeah, you can pretty much make any Michael Jackson joke into a Jerry Sandusky joke now.
Yeah, that's what I said before I even opened the thread

I love Fritos with cheese in a can. Takes me back to my single days in army barracks.

I just bought this flashlight at Vance's the other day for the same price they have listed. Has high, low and strobe and really bright. The nice thing is it runs on 2 AA's instead of the CR123 batteries that are like $2 each. Love mine, actually love all my Streamlight flashlights.
