  1. If you do not have a CHL, then the handgun must be unloaded and secured separately from the ammo, and out of reach while driving. Having a loaded magazine or speedloader equals a "loaded gun" in Ohio even if the magazine is locked up in the trunk.

    If a gun is stolen, it needs to be reported to the police.

    This is all Ohio law, btw. In Kentucky, it is legal to have a loaded handgun in the glove compartment even without a CHL.

    No, there is no law that states ammo and gun must be separated and out of reach.

    ORC 2923.16 Improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

    © No person shall knowingly transport or have a firearm in a motor vehicle, unless the person may lawfully possess that firearm under applicable law of this state or the United States, the firearm is unloaded, and the firearm is carried in one of the following ways:

    (1) In a closed package, box, or case;

    (2) In a compartment that can be reached only by leaving the vehicle;

    (3) In plain sight and secured in a rack or holder made for the purpose;

    (4) If the firearm is at least twenty-four inches in overall length as measured from the muzzle to the part of the stock furthest from the muzzle and if the barrel is at least eighteen inches in length, either in plain sight with the action open or the weapon stripped, or, if the firearm is of a type on which the action will not stay open or which cannot easily be stripped, in plain sight.

    Yes, all magazines and speed loaders must be unloaded. Even if you have a CHL and you have a rifle in the car that accepts the same magazine as your CCW, that's illegal.

    Anyone use these?

    I would rather have a combo lock like the one posted above, but if this is more sturdy then I may be able to live w another key to carry

    That looks like it's pretty beefy.

  2. The one on dealextreme says 80 minute record time on a full charge. I wonder it will record while plugged into a USB power adapter, giving you longer time on it?

    You thinking I should carry a power pack in my pocket and keep it plugged in? lol

  3. Another idea that was touched on is so much is being put on so few. Guys going on 5,6,7, 10, 12 deployments is unbelievably rough on the trooper and the families. Suicide and divorce rates are through the roof for service members. Yeah, everyone that has been over in the Middle East enlisted but seems like fewer people are willing to serve.

  4. How many here were crazy enough to go get the awesome deal? What time did you get in line? What'd ya get?

    I stayed home. I don't need anything that badly and I don't like large crowds of insane people. My wife was at work at 11pm to open at midnight. Don't envy her at all.

  5. You have a link for these?

    Search for "mini cam" or "MD80 cam" I hear the ones with the alloy case and slider switches are better. The ebay listing showed that type but when I got it it was the plastic case one and push buttons. Oh well...And yeah, they usually don't come with a micro SD sd card. I just used the 4g card that came with my Droid when I expanded to 8g

  6. The DSLR has been put on the DL unless I stumble across one really cheap. Their tastes get increasingly expensive with age.

    You've been doing it wrong. You get them dirt cheap stuff from Goodwill until they are about 14. Then when you buy something for $75 new from the store, it'll be amazing!

  7. Starting on Black Friday and running through New Year's Day, two U.S. malls -- Promenade Temecula in southern California and Short Pump Town Center in Richmond, Va. -- will track guests' movements by monitoring the signals from their cell phones.
    The goal is for stores to answer questions like: How many Nordstrom shoppers also stop at Starbucks? How long do most customers linger in Victoria's Secret? Are there unpopular spots in the mall that aren't being visited?

  8. Let us knowhow it works.

    Will do. Waiting for it to fully charge. I'll probably try it out tomorrow in the day light.

    I'm :lol: at your 'driver' disc.

    I know' date=' right? :D

    If it doesn't have a night vision feature it is useless to me

    :lol:

  9. I just got this in the mail from Hong Kong today. Was like $11 off of ebay and about the size of my thumb. I know some LE people that use them while on duty, main reason I got it. I'll probably see about mounting it to the bike too. I figure for $11 bucks shipped, if it craps out after a while I can get another. Smith and Wesson and a few other reputable people make (stick their name on) the same sort of cameras but sell for upwards of $100.

    After I've actually used it, I'll post up a review.

    Edit:

    I love manuals in broken English. lol

    The battery is built-in lithium rechargeable battery, so when you use it the first time, please charge firstly. The method for charging as following:

    1.) Connect computer: use USB cable to connect the computer, then it can be charged.

    2.) Use adaptor: connect charger plug with USB cable, then plug into electrical connector receptacle, it can be charged.

    When you charge it, blue light and red light will bright simultaneously, of which states are stillness.

    Notice: when battery power is not enough, D001 will enter into protection mode, so it cannot be turn on. Now, please charge for it.
