They have given up Christmas with their families so you could enjoy Christmas with yours. Many will have no presents to open, no honey glazed ham to eat and no tree to decorate. But many would have it no other way. Say a prayer for them. Maybe even set up an empty place setting at the table for dinner in their Honor.

I know a girl that was engaged to a guy. She called him up one day, and in the background she heard "Honey, come back to bed." Well he had given her a ring that cost something like $25K and she kept it. Pawned it and kept the money. I'd bet he was pretty pissed.

My point was, there could have been more to lose in the relationship.

He had no way to know what was in it. It could have been full of cinder blocks and made to look like a snow man. Imagine if he had hit it then. I'll avoid a fast food bag in the middle of the road if I can. You just never know what could be in it the way people are these days.

Hey chevy you would have gone nuts at how many bayo's there were at the medina gun show. Tons of old stuff cheap $20 for some stuff. Some were high like $125, lots of old swords also. I spent to much to buy my ka-bar style knife this time maybe next week.

same w/ dinner - start going places that require a reservation, and when she's running late, tell her you've missed the reservation and will have to hit up applebees - then when she complains about waiting at applebees, if you're feeling ballsy, you can make some remark about how they're still an hour and 40 minutes quicker at getting ready than she is - just be prepared to duck if you go that route; and don't plan on getting lucky.

I agree with this.

It's one of those things it would be awesome to have, but kind of hard to justify getting.
