  1. Before I take off to pick one of these guns up, I have a quick question.

I was planning on going to a basketball game at a public school and I know you are not allowed guns in the school, but if it is in the case not loaded in the car, can it be on the grounds?

Only if it is a college. Anything 12th grade and under it can't be in the car in the lot. Only in loading and unloading zones is it allowed in the car. IIRC

  2. This also, American Red Cross donations to military:

Your donations are 100% tax deductable. The American Red Cross is a tax-exempt organization under section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The federal tax identification number is 53-0196605.

    American Red Cross FAQ

Lol, I had just added that page and when I refreshed I saw you added it too.

  3. Both the LCP and Bodyguard have great reviews. There's lots of people on here that prefer one over another. All preference really. See if you can get your hands on one and shoot it.

On a side note, you talking about winter and guns, remember winter clothing usually allows you to carry a larger caliber. I know a few people that will carry a .45 during the winter and a .380 during the summer. I just stick with a .45 year round. (I'm not gonna mention M&P simply because I just don't care tonight)

  4. Im sure his post was aimed at me. Yes I commented on clip vs magazine because well,..... its a magazine and not a clip. Sorry if the correct terminology offends you but I am a firm believer in correcting someone so that they dont say something potentially stupid to someone that may be their boss or could affect certain aspects of their life. My correction is meant to help you and nothing more. If you take offense to learning the correct terminology for something then you have bigger issues to overcome. Just ask the people here how many times I have typed fast and had to be corrected for using the word your when I should have been using you're. I now make a conscious effort to better myself and do my best to make sure I use the correct verbiage so I dont look/sound like a grammatically challenged dipshit.

FYI vintage rider, if you feel the need to group people that ride into groups that you suggest, and I quote "are just as dumb as they come" you're (notice the correct verbiage) more then welcome to leave the board and not post here anymore.

I use my knife's magazine to hold it to my belt. What now! :p

To send a phone card or a care package, please visit https://american.redcross.org/site/Ecommerce?FOLDER=1273&store_id=7945 for more information.

When I was in Iraq it was always awesome to get a card or a care package from a complete stranger. It really helped to get us through the deployment. Just knowing that someone took time out to say "thank you, we appreciate what you do for us" made what we were doing not so tough. I urge you to do this for our troops. They have given so much and ask for so little in return. I guarantee doing something small like this will have a tremendous impact on that trooper.

  6. I actually like the idea of a HiPoint as a first gun. Then, when the OP wants moar (inevitable) he'll get something nicer and be SUPER appreciative -- "Ohh , this is how a real gun is supposed to weigh, shoot, and feel."

It's like when you go from that first POS Pinto your parents gave you, and get a new WRX. The POS-ness of the Pinto wasn't evident until you got the WRX.

Very valid point. Although mine was a Sentra, not a Pinto. I thought that car was a pretty sweet ride in the beginning.

  7. Whatever you do don't buy an M&P.

They make you wear digicami pants everywhere you go. ;)

:nono: I know you're jealous, so just come out and admit it.

And as for the pants, I saw you checking out my ass.
