I do once in a while, but since I still haven't found any ear buds that will stay in (even after Casper's thread about the marshmallows and others) so I don't bother most of the time. It is illegal to have both in. This is one of those laws that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If I have ear plugs in, can I hear any better than if I have both ear buds in? But the law is the law, even if it's not quite right, and if you choose to ride with both in, you could get in trouble for it.

Those look nice. I probably won't be making it down there for a few weeks. I give new meaning to being broke.

I can name a handful of others down this way that can ride their 1000's through the twisties that would embarrass most that would try to keep up with them.

I'm gonna head down there soon, unless I can find a cool deal on some Carolinas.

That sounds like it would be a welcome relief from the crackheads and bath salters that you deal with most of the time. I wondered how long it would take you to want a chair mount! How heavy is the chair? I odn't think it would be too difficult to come up with something that would work for you!

I might be able to do this. I'll have to see what we have going on. I want to go for a ride, but not an all day thing, or I would go on the CSBA ride. This will be the first weekend I have off that nothing is planned for all day Saturday in a couple months!

I'd say $1800-2200, depending on condition. If it's clean, no signs of having been down, that low of mileage, they could get close to the $2200 mark. I'm not saying I would pay that much for one though! I paid $950 for my 04, 2 1/2 years ago with no front fairings, and under 2400 miles. With the fairings and 10,000 more miles, I would think I could get more than $1500 out of it, although it's not for sale. There's a red one (08+) for sale in town here, if ya want I can grab the phone number off it for you. Keep an eye on CL.

If you like wrenching, I have a 1985 Honda Interceptor 500 up for grabs! That thing is rated up around 75 or so HP!

Nothing wrong with that! I have $0 to put toward another bike right now, but I still keep looking around. I won't be selling the 250 though!

Yeah, I ride mine daily. I'm not uncomfortable in freeway traffic, and I'm in front on the traffic most of the time. In the twisty's, the group I ride with doesn't go much over 80 mph, and I'm usually not far from the lead pack, I just lack the acceleration out of the corners. With experience, I've improved that by gear selection, and more confidence in my corner speed, but I'll never be able to keep up with 600's. Well, until I get a 600!

I'm not gonna bash on your Blast, I'm sure it's a great bike. That said, you wanna run 'em? Seriously, for someone just wanting to run the streets, in town riding, even freeway, the Blasts lower price (used) would probably be the better deal. If someone is going to start hitting the twisty's the Ninja 250 will probably be the better bike, even if the suspension is lacking in comparison. If I wasn't perpetually broke, I would have likely snatched that thing up!

I've had bikes with more than 98 hp hold up my 26 hp bike in the turns. Jussayin'.
