Across the parking lot, and across the the side street at work for lunch is about the farthest I go without gear. I have gone down the road about a mile and a half and back with just the helmet, but I was very uneasy about it, and won't be doing that any more!

You're not exactly a tiny, scrawny guy though. A liter bike isn't as much overkill for you as it would be for me.

I need to test that out. Someone give me a fast bike, like now! I hate it when guys get the "big bike syndrome" where they blast through the straights, then go so slow through the corners that they hold up my 250!

I have had it for 10 years, this is the second time getting recertified, every 5 years. Dyslexia, or something like that.

Who knows, someone might care! I took my ASE recertification tests this morning, and passed them all. I aced 2 of them, and missed no more than 2 on each of the others. There are 8 tests that I took. That is all.

Seriously, I know how to do it, but I have very little interest in doing so. I've seen the piece break that you put the winding tools into. Fortunately, I haven't seen any catastrophe's from it though.

Both of my bikes came from CL. I got a good deal on each of them. Maybe I was just lucky, or I just know what to look for! Both of them needed work, which is a good thing for me!
