  1. I'm pretty sure the wife and I are going, as lo0ng as we can find someone willin gto spend some quality time with three very active little boys.
  2. I also remember tearing apart anything and everything I could get my hands on. My bicycles (multiple cheap BMX, 10 speed, etc.) lawnmowers, electronics, you name it, I would try to figure out how it worked! MOST of the time, I got it put back together and working as it should, and sometimes better than before! Anymore, stuff just gets thrown away and replaced. My lawnboy mower is from the mid 80's, and the thing fires up on the first or second pull of the cord, every time.
  3. When I was 16, I worked at a grocery store. My job was "customer service". I bagged (in paper bags), and carried out groceries for the customers, and loaded them into their cars.
  4. I don't braid my hair...
  5. No mullet here, if that's what you're thinking. It's surprising how much the ladies like long hair on a guy.
  6. Really? (Post number 8000 for me...)
  7. First off, if the mods think it would be more appropriate, move this to the events section. I haven't seen this posted yet, but there's going to be a pretty cool event happening in Hanover (east of Newark) that includes a pretty big gun raffle. Tickets are $100 for the event and raffle, or $20 for just the concert. The concert will feature local country artist Bryan Lewis, Sammy Kershaw, and Wynn Varbel. It is to benefit the Licking Valley Athletic Boosters. Here's the link to the facebook page for the event, where there's a photo of a list of all the prizes: http://www.facebook.com/gitrgun
  8. It's still a Hardley. Still overpaying for the name on it.
  9. Well, 3 outta 4 ain't bad. One is way off base, unless you count that one time we met up and...
  10. Kroger's cheap french onion is similar, but not quite the same. I pick up osm eof the Lawson's stuff once in a while. The first TV I really remember was black and white, later when we had cable, the box was wired, and had push buttons for each channel. The first wireless remote controls were HUGE. How about cordless phones that had METAL antennas? If you knew a geeky kid with a programmable scanner, you could eavesdrop on them! I played video games at friends houses on Atari, Intellivision, etc... At home we had a TI99/4A computer. We could play some of the games on it by typing in the BASIC code for it, and that was COOL!
  11. Someone finally said it!
  12. I like the way the Hon-duh does with it. I may try it in the Neenjer, and see how I like it. It tends to burn a little when I ride it hard, maybe the 15-40 will make that decrease a little.
  13. Paint fumes = drugs? I hope Paul uses this as a realization that he has some areas that could use improvement, and not as Hoblick bad-mouthing him, as I'm sure that Hoblick wouldn't be that way.
  14. Emoticon fail Quite? You went to some backwoods redneck school, didn't you? Oh wait, our kids are going to that same school! Ugh... I think I remember hearing it making noise before. Engine flush? That's pretty close to what the engine flush stuff in a can is. I run Rotella T in the Hon-duh, and Valvoline 4 cycle in the 250.
  15. I would probably wire it differently' date=' because I like to keep the headlight on high beam during the day. I'll ponder it some more, and maybe come up with my own setup anywa. I would hate to be the cage driver in this case. We have a reinforcement for a reminder to keep yourself as visible as you can!
  16. He's just whiney in general. If it wasn't this, he'd be whining about something else. I totally agree with you, though. Then again, as I've said many times, I don't know many that would have the drive that you do to get back on the bike,
  17. I've never seen one of those break! He USED to be good about changing the oil on time, but I had noticed that he started slacking off over the past couple years.
  18. You should buy it for me in exchange for "services rendered" the other day.
  19. Changing the oil on time, or running a more expensive synthetic. Both yield similar results in most cases. The synthetic usually ends up being cheaper due to less frequent changes. I use synthetic, and change it at around 4 or 5k miles in the cage, so I should be good, as long as I don't let it run too low on oil again.
  20. I'm thinking about the headlight modulator as well. I don't want one running al the time, just when I need to make myself noticed.

    Neil Peart

And he does ok on his little drum set, too!
  22. Finally? You've had this thing listed FOREVER!
