  1. Where's that "like" button? Oh wait, this isn't Facebook! I'm a very strong maybe for this one, it all depends on how the wife and new kid that's due 2 weeks before that are doing.
  2. What? I'm disappointed. Nobody made the very obvious "I have an instrument you can fly" comment. You gaiz are slipping in your -ing Anyway, congrats! I have heard that this is a difficult thing to do, but I bet you did better than you expected you would!
  3. That's right across 270 from where I work! It's also close to where John works. I'm excited to hear the upcoming details!
  4. I'm not sure who you would contact, but how about some of the places that are closed in the brice rd area, south of I-70? Is there anything in the former Meijer store?
  5. Quoted for truth... Seriously though, the CSBA rides are awesome, no matter your skill level!
  6. I tried on a couple different Scorpion helmets, and none seemed to fit me very comfortably. My HJC fit's well, has a nice big chin skirt, quieter than the cheap Zox that I had before, Integrated Sunshield, etc... The top vents don't seem to do much, and the front only does a little, which is enough to help defog when the fogging is too much for the coating on the visor. Anyway, make sure you go try one on somewhere if you're buying it online. You want to make sure it fits well.
  7. Ouch. He said the v-word!
  8. Nick's still a , so no worries that he had to google a few new words. I like the red, white, blue version.
  9. Yeah, I got the invite and proceeded to get my ass handed to me. I suck at COD THAT bad! LOL Seeing that the car guys were doing better while I was on, I'd say that they're all thumbs, and the motorcycle people have more real world skillz.
  10. This is another case of "You can't make that stuff up."
  11. Because it's such a big deal for an already safe gun owner. Seriously though, safety features and reliability were a big factor in my picking the XD. The need to dry fire the XD to field strip it isn't a big deal, as long as the person stripping it is safe, and checks and double checks to make sure it's unloaded. From what I've been reading from much more experienced gun owners, dry firing isn't a big deal on most modern pistols. On the XD, excessive dry firing can cause damage to a $5 roll pin. I like the fact that I don't need any tools to field strip my XD, others like the fact that you don't have to pull the trigger. Personal preference, I suppose.
  12. If I can make it, you 2 fools will make it, and I'm about 95% sure I'll be there. Make it happen! The rider formerly know as TA-RR might be allowed a bit of slack for a track day though.
  13. As a secondary line of defense, I've been using Microsoft Security Essentials. My first line is Eset's NOD32. Beyond that, more important than you hating the computer is that in reality, the computer hates you!
  14. What caliber? I have a .40, but 9mm ammo is cheaper. If you get a 9, we'll need to set up a shoot sometime, so that I can try it out! I think we need to take a trip to Blackwing sometime, after talking to a friend tonight, and them telling me how good Blacking id.
  15. ATF > BBB when dealing with firearms. BIG TIME!
  16. Or that the sammiches need to be made.
  17. That's not nice Tbut!
  18. My wife's laptop is about the same way. Mine is fine, and I use it a lot more, go to many more sites from googling gor info, etc... I guess I just don't understand.
  19. Real men have names that end with 2 d's! Uncle Pink fails at this. and quite possible many other aspects of life. But we still let him hang out. (not that I get any say in the mater.) Become a sponsor ASAP and hook us all up with killer deals! I need a good holster for my XD SC. Oh, and welcome.
  20. I've heard OF that company, but not much ABOUT them.
  21. Better to not ride than get ripped off on credit. The good price you get will be killed by paying interest.
  22. Is someone trying to give him a hint?
  23. Careful, you might get an infraction for your review! I'm going to be in the market for a cheap plinker when the cash becomes available, and the 10/22 is on my list to consider. "Reviews" such as this have me leaning more toward the 10/22.
