  1. I usually make it out there on Monday. I live a few miles from there, so I might go at other times, too.
  2. Pretty much, on both counts. It is a fun way to waste a day of labor day weekend.
  3. What other way is there to fish? Put a worm on a hook and hope that a fish is dumb enough to bite on it? No thanks. Rifle fishing = WIN!
  4. I have heard that the E10 gas that we get whether we want it or not tends to varnish easier than 100% gasoline. Anybody have any proof to back that up?
  5. We just need to ban criminals from having guns. Problem solved. Back to the FS thread.
  6. Wow! Kinda like a supermodel?
  7. Must be an old computer, or a really large, detailed model! I haven't used any CAD/Modeling programs in forever.
  8. Sounds like a cool thing to me. Fixed!
  9. I don't think it's the meds causing the confusion. Sounds good! Any ideas yet to get us excited? Oh, I got my CSBA number today!
  10. Downloaded. I'll read it a bit at a time, probably more when cold weather hits.
  11. Conversation I was in today: Have you noticed that it's become rare to see a road sign that says "dead end"? We as a society have become too PC and no call it a "no Outlet". All I could do is agree.
  12. I have one of those as well, but I could never get the helmet over my head with it on there without it feeling like I was crushing my head. It WAS a LOT quieter, but it didn't do much for keeping the cold off my chin, which is why I bought it. The IS-16 has a very large chin skirt, I'm curious how it will work in the cold, along with a balaklava.
  13. There are about 250 bikes out for this. About 10 sportbikes.
  14. Something to do with waste oil recycling. I forget what it is now, but they've been in the news a bit lately. For the ethanol compatability issue, search ducati plastic fuel tank swelling! Actually, there's some talk about it in the thread that Tom linked to above about where to find E0. The one place I know has E85 is Kroger on East Broad St. The fuel station to the side of the store, not their Turkey Hill across the street.
  15. Get yourself and your virus out there! I'm leaving in a few to go to the KoC.
  16. I have the IS-16 as well. I really like it, other than a few minor details. The padding seems to come un-snapped too easily, and it moves around a bit. This is not an issue with the helmet on my head. Also, the cheek pads hit the bottoms of my ears just enough to be annoying. I may see if I can modify that somehow. Just a couple other quirks that aren't much of a bother: The integrated sunshield is not anti-fog coated. Also, many times when I quickly reach up to hit the button to retract the integrated sunshield, the button rocks a bit sideways and will "stick" in the depressed position. A quick tap will dislodge it and all is well again. With all those little issues aside, I really like the helmet. It's comfy (minus the slight ear contact mentioned above) and quiet, compared to the inexpensive Zox that it replaced. The integrated sunshield is awesome as well! I got caught out at dark once with the tinted shield on my old bucket and decided I didn't like that, nor did I like shoving my sunglasses into the opening, alomst breaking them. I tried on several other helmets that were in the same price range, but none of them fit as well, and I had a hard time even putting on the Scorpion that would fit. I think I've found out that it IS true that some helmets fit different shaped heads better than others! Enjoy your new helmet, and ALWAYS use it!
  17. Oh great, not this guy again... Taking a break from school work and football there, Prez? Oh, and /hijack
  18. Yes, you have it right. E85 is not very common around here. I only know of 1 station, myself.
  19. Even if you could, why would you want to? Cheaper? Check your MPG and re-think that. I won't even start into the politics, and other economic effects of it. Ethanol is not good for bikes. Especially carbureted bikes.
  20. E85 isn't found much of anywhere. Almost all gasoline is E10, supposed to be up to 10% ethanol, but many have reason to believe that it's more like 15-25%. I don't doubt them, and I would prefer no Ethanol in my gasoline.
