  1. I forget the restrictions on PM's, but it's to deter spammers. Once you're here for a period of time, that drops off and you can PM just fine. I think paying to be a supporter will also lift the restriction. Search button is your friend.
  2. My opinion, it depends on which you need it for the most, and where it's actually making it's power. If you ride the twisties more the the freeway, and the change get's your rpm's to where the bike works better, go for it. What makes the bike work better is not necessarily what sounds better to you. If you need the rpm drop on the freeway, and that's where you ride more, then go for it. I guess I'm saying that if you're doing it for in the twisties, and that's not what the bike needs, you'd be wasting your time.
  3. That's why I waited around for "those riders" to get out of the way. It was a nice night ride home, even though I'm not much of a fan of nighttime riding, with the deer and all out my way.
  4. I'm guessing you weren't talking about the bike?
  5. What does MidgetTodd's midget gheyness have to do with liking IP? I heart IP for the closeouts, and to look at stuff. Many times, I have the "need" for the instant gratification, and buy stuff there. I have too many IP "freebie" t-shirts.
  6. Was actually a FZ6R, but a $7,000 (IP price) bike anyway. Want it? Not my first choice, but why not! Ride it for a bit, then sell it and buy a bike I would really want!
  7. If I was him, I wouldn't break even the smallest traffic law!
  8. Well, I can't say anything, as it seems they didn't have any rules against it. I think it would have just been right for him to say "no thanks, give someone else a chance" but he didn't, it's over, and I'm lees of a fan of IP now. Seriously, the onlky things I get from there are when I have to have it right away, or closeouts. The closeouts are priced closer the where a lot of the prices shoud be, instead of the MSRP that they put on everything. Most places knock a bit off MSRP, but not IP. /rant
  9. Justin's (JRMMiii) buying!
  10. I don't know about that. I don't like not being home at bedtime.
  11. Sam, are you going to let her talk about Fonzie like that? It was cool meeting some of you, and seeing some of you again. I really don't think I'll make more than a couple bike nights a year though. Just not my kind of thing.

    Just saying

That's sux. Insurance are about as close as you can get to the government in operation...

Get the drive thru window fixed?
  14. That's nothing, I do 140 on my Ninja 250 just running in to town to get lunch. /:snarky: What proof do they have other than his admission? Excessive speeding on public roadways is bad, mmm-kay?
  15. Add midget to that and you've found 1000rrrider, aka MidgetTodd.
  16. I'm gonna try to make the CC meetup. Roll out of cc at 6:30 - 6:45, is that how I read between the lines that Cheech drew so clearly? I'm not sure if the 2 fiddy can haul my ass up there fast enough to make it by then, depending on when the wife makes it home so that I can leave.
  17. Oh, I forgot, they "upgraded" their image
  18. search is your friend, Mr. Admin! When I've seen it posted before, Jeff is one that keeps coming up, so he must be good. And as Justin says, Dynotune Motorsports does tinting, as well. I don't think you could go wrong with either of them!
  19. I thought everyone bought their heaters at odd lots?
  20. I think the paid developers are jealous of what some of the hobbyists have done with Android, and they're trying to lock it up so that we can't have the goodies.
  21. The FMEA - fee'-muh debacle has bothered me for years. I haven't even seen it for quite a while to worry about it (since 2002) but it bothered me that badly back then!
