  1. I'm saving that card for if I ever decide to go HD, and I won't settle for anything less than the HD TiVo for Directv that's supposed to be in the works.
  2. No, I was too busy derailing threads on here!
  3. Yes I did, and I've learned even more since. I also gained a family in the wake of it all! I try my best!
  4. The best deal on Directv is the Premier package, or whatever they call it now. It's all the premiums, and stuff, around $100-110 -ish I think. That's only if you're going to watch enough TV to justify the more money, which I don't.
  5. Tesla is kickass! Are they even still together? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2zwBRa0YhA
  6. I think my bill is around $70 a month, I have all the channels before getting into premium movie channels, HBO, etc... I also pay something like $5 a month for a second receiver, and $6 or so for their DVR fee. The price is after taxes and reg fees, misc BS. I'll look for more specific info later. To be honest, I think it's a little bit expensive, but it's the minimum I had to get for some of the channels that I watch. I have Directv, and I OWN my receivers, which are TiVo's, not Directv plus DVR. If you get anything now, they "lease" the box to you, even though you have to pay for it up front if you want anything other than the basic box.
  7. In hind sight, I would've gotten my ass in gear and kept my house, instead of being asked to leave. At the time, I was too interested in partying, and haveing fun. I've learned the lessons, and have become a little bit more responsible. The nice thing is that I like where I am now a LOT more.

    Snow

Yeah, sorry to destroy your hopes, but they do mean snow...
  9. My mirror got knocked off by a Sheriff's cruiser hogging the road, and my hitting a mailbox, while topping a small hill. Does that count as vandalism? Didn't hurt the mailbox, and the mirror worked for about 8 months until the chunk of the housing finally fell out, thanks to ice.
  10. I hate it when you try something that SHOULD make it better, but it just messes it all up.... Not just with the site, but lot's of things that I've tried in the past!
  11. Nah, it's a 64 Lesabre convertable. Nice car, but definately not somethign you'd want to drive every day now!
  12. He's changed something, because I can duplicate that one by just typing in the o-r.net url.
  13. I'm just a lowly civilian......
  14. Bump for a nice lookin jakcet. If it was the Interceptor jacket, not the CBR, I'd be very interested. I still might be interested, I'll have to think about it, and see if you still have it after the funds become available (tax return comes in.)
  15. That's funny. We recently restored a 64 Buick at work. The bumpers were too bad, and we had to have them reworked by a place down in TN.
  16. This is one thing I'm having a struggle with dealing with the step boys. They're young enough that it's not an issue yet, but they have no respect for their own stuff, or stuff that belongs to their mom or just general stuff around the house. It's not out of control, I just want to get it to where I'm not worried about it becoming out of control.
  17. That's how it was working for me, except I would just hit esc. and it would load the page just fine, although I dodn't check to make sure all the images were right, just nothing I normally pay attention to was out of place. It was happenning when reading a thread, replying to a thread, back to the home page, pretty much anywhere. As I said above, just hit esc. and it continued normally. I use the .com to get to the site, and the redirect seems to work fine.
  18. Main roads in the area are good. County roads suck. The township road that I live on is really good, just packed snow, that provides good traction. I have to travel a crappy county road to get anywhere, and it is bad. It's packed snow/ice that's cleared over to the ditch on one side, and only half the lane on the other, not to mention that the packed snow/ice is uneven, worse than potholes! It's like a washboard, at best. I'm actually glad that they did NOT put down a bunch of salt. It would have turned to slush, then ice, covered with snow.
  19. ^ Better explaination... Is there maybe something that it's trying to access of the o-r.net that is now password protected that wasn't before? THAT's the type of prompt I'm getting. I'm thinking it must be a banner or something, since it's random. FOr the record, I haven't noticed it yet today, and it seemed to only happen on the first few pages I went to AFTER being idle for a while. Not sure if any of that matters or not, just trying to help!
  20. They were the windows login type popup. Like the ones that you get with peer to peer networking, to access password protected resources on another PC.
