  1. only if you like 30 miles of the tightest switchbacks you have ever seen, the road is insane
  2. cooter have you ridden 198 out of three rivers california?
  3. http://excessivelocity.blogspot.com/2009/05/arizona-191-old-666-devils-highway.html?m=1 there is a review of the road with more detail, the road has very few pull offs and no stops for 91 miles so pictures are limited but way more corners than the Dragon
  4. tioga and glacier pass are closed, im on 180 now headed to 198
  5. the passes are still closed so I rode around the sierras and took 41 into yosimite
  6. Just out for a cruise, i try average 300-500 miles per day. I'm over at Yosemite at the casino, tomorrow I'm heading back to Vegas for a night then to the grand canyon, monument valley, the four corners then it might be time to head home. We're about 3000 miles out at this point
  7. I came across 82 through the Lincoln national forest in New Mexico, it to is an impressive ride, I got on 191 down near the Mexico boarder and rode it up to 40
  8. I'm in deathvalley, rented a jeep out here yesterday which was a blast. I'm headed to Yosemite later today
  9. I rode the Ozarks on the way through to pass time, there nice but no 191. Might ride them on the way home in a week or two
  10. yeah the signs are crazy, 15mph next 25 miles, i laughed at the 25 mile per hour speed limit until i got into the corners and realized 30 is pushing it. well worth the drive
  11. better weather due to the elevation had a high of 70 yesterday, there are as many little places in the area to stay as there are around the Dragon its only downfall is the distance
  12. heres a copper mine that it takes you to the top of
  13. so here are a couple pictures of Arizona 191 it has left me wondering why people even talk about the Dragon this section is 91 miles of 15 to 25 mile perhour switchbacks and edge of the cliff corners, there are no hard rails or signs on the edges
  14. when you say that was the only time you crossed today are you saying you have crossed the center line otherdays? how long have you been riding?

    PR3's on CBR

love the pr3 I had a set go well over 10000 miles
  16. I ride in the snow so I'm not saying not to ride it just use caution this time of the year. I know two people who have already been down this year because they thought the road conditions were better than they were
  17. what this guy said, My friend broke his back in hocking last week
  18. You said you purchased them in Columbus, what's the name of the place you got them at ?
  19. What's the cost on these and does anyone have their tires balanced and run these?
  20. i have a cheap one and a gps in my smartphone. the problem with the cheap one is there is no Bluetooth and i already have a chatterbox so the feature would be nice. Im also liking for something that i can make a custom map and upload it for long trips so i dont have to enter like 50 city names to get me to the areas i want to go. i would like to map my upcoming trip to southern california and be able to turn it on and have it take me to each place without having to stop and enter each city one after another. also waterproof is a must when riding 17 days straight as i often do. i hate stopping everytime it rains to cover stuff up
  21. im looking for a waterproof motorcycle gps and was wondering if anyone uses this specific one. if not what do you use? Justlooking for some advice or useful information before buying one
  22. Love the fjr, leaving in three weeks to do some long distance touring on mine, 8000 mile trip through the south west on the best touring bike out there. glws
  23. frog togs are terrible they are stiff as cardboard and kinda pricy I recommend Coleman outdoor wear from walmart. They are very comfortable and you can get a set for around 50 bucks. i have had mine for about six years and ridden over 5000 miles inthe rain with them. they might be my best motorcycle gear purchase ever
  24. I got the grill from lowes for 600 and they do go on sale from time to time AS Far as overall size the grill is a monster but it doesn't hold a ton on each side, if you burn both sides at once its much bigger than a normal grill, if your planning on just doing gas you can get larger gas only grills. I have put six or eight burgers on each side before. I like the option of bring able to do gas or charcoal more than anything. When I'm in a hurry i throw the food on the gas side or when i want a damn good burger and have time to hang out i use the charcoal http://m.lowes.com/product?langId=-1&storeId=10702&catalogId=10051&productId=3583544&store=0003&view=specs
